PureClassic C-D6 Music System (CD Player, DAB+/FM, Bluetooth, AUX, USB, Alarm Sleep Timer) Cotton White/Oak

Bought to replace a radio I bought in April, the remote has gone bananas, I'm currently awaiting a reply from the importer, but I'm not holding my breath for a good outcome.We've only had the set a couple of hours, very easy to set up, my son who is blind will be the main user, finds it easier to use, curiously the remote only has 6 selection buttons, but that will probably be enough.The old radio only found 134 DAB stations yesterday when trying to get it to work, this one found 147!I immediately tried to get Jazz FM as other reviewers said it was poor reception, no probs here in Bristol!!Hopefully this radio will be a success, there's a 2yr warranty, so here's hoping this will be an end to our troubles and I shan't be running upstairs to solve problems quite so often!

This radio/CD player is an absolute gem, after a lifetime of listening to many,many high quality audio systems, the transfer to the sound of this radio was seamless, just smaller but in no way inferior to my full size moving coil/class A/horns home system. It Truly is Hi-Fi for the bedside table and is worth every penny of it's purchase price!

This all-in-one is very easy to set up and use and has a really great quality sound for the price. Very pleased with the item. There is a slight mark running along the surface where the veneer has creased on a close up, it is a bit of luck however that it appears as a part of the wood grain pattern further away. This does not detract from the sound quality but is a slight defect hence four stars instead of five.

I don't usually write reviews, but after receiving my Pure Classic C-D6 radio I was surprised at how good it was.The Pure Classic C-D6 was abit bigger than I thought, it is fairly deep at 28cm. This being said the build quality of the cabinet is solid. The volume and Selector dials are plastic but are perfectly acceptable. CD tray is abit flimsy but adequate. At £180 you can't complain.DAB Radio... (This is where it shines)DAB radio station were very easy to scan/tune and preset. You get 30 presets which is plenty. It managed to pick up over 120 DAB stations. I was very impressed and happy with this due to some reviews saying they had issues picking up stations.The stations are crystal clear.I was up and running with presets installed within 10 minutes.Sound...The sound quality is more than sufficient and has plenty of power at 30 watts if you wanted to play louder.It also has 3 eq settings, but I didn't notice any sound difference between them.Overall all this is a great system if you want to listen to DAB radio, play cds or Bluetooth music. It also has an aux in! For the price I don't think you could find better.Edit: Update...I have now had this stereo for a month now and it's been working fine but the usb-A socket doesn't recognise my mp3 player. That's not a big issue as the stereo has an 3.5mm aux in input, so I can use that. Also the dab+ radio has been working flawlessly.I would highly recommend this product!

As expected from this company a good quality item. I one problem and that’s the reception on DAB. However this is nothing new as I live in the wilds of Norfolk, but I have deducted a star for this reason. I was not pleased in the condition in which I received it. The box was open and torn and I would hazard a guess that this had been returned. I considered returning it but it worked ok so I decided to keep it. However not a good advert for Amazon.

A very nice all in one sound system from Pure. I’ve had several radios from Pure over many years and they’ve never let me down - this is no exception. It’s great for DAB+ digital radio, FM radio playing CDs and streaming from your phone via Bluetooth. It also has connections for external devices if desired. The sound is very good and the unit looks great. As usual with all things electrical the instructions are fairly basic and of the Quick Start type, but the unit is actually pretty easy to set up and there is more help online if needed. A purist would probably want a separate amplifier and speakers etc, but for great quality sound and build in one unit I think that this is really good.
