fantastic upgrade to the plastic Podium bottle but seriously heavy
I've bee nusing the plastic Podium bottles for my bike rides for many years after trying out many of the various brands. There are two main downsides to them -- they do not keep the drink cool and each gulp you take gets a small amount of liquid in each sip. This totally new design solves both of these issues very well. My drinks stay chilled in all but the longest ride, which is going to be super nice when it summer hits.I think, though, that I appreciate the quantity of liquid dispensed even more than the cooling. This new design serves up a full mouthful of water with each swig, ending years of frustration with the tiny sips the old design gives. I feel like the old design was a major factor in why I always felt under-hydrated on my rides. The difference in how much less water is left in the bottle at the end of a short ride speaks for itself.Another aspect that occured to me is also that having a bigger gulp for each swig is that you will end up not having to pull the bottle out of the cage quite as many times, which is a huge safety plus point in my mind. The payment for these big improvements is a heavy weight penalty. The plastic 22ounce bottle weighs 4.6 ounces, while the new metal 22oz bottles weighs 12.5 ounces. When you pick the metal bottle up, you'll groan thinking about it, but for me, I'm ordering a second one and can't wait to enjoy a cold drink at the end of my next long ride.

it fits all bottle holders - AND Actually works!
Finally, I don't have to have an adjustable bottle holder for my Yetti. Now, I can use this bottle with any bottle holder (we have 6 bikes). It keeps the drinks ice cold with leftover ice even after a 30-mile ride in full sun!!!!!!Love it! Ordered 4 total already.

Awesome for hot day rides. Not designed for hot beverages though.
This bottle will keep your drink ice cold for a 60+ mile ride on a 90F day. Couple of times I've drunk all the fluid from it, and there was still ice rattling around inside. Awesome bottle. The only drawback - you cannot use it in winter to keep hot beverage in it. I had to use a differently designed bottle by Speedfill for my hot chocolate on winter rides.

phenomenal, but heavy
ok, these are great, they keep my liquid cold all day.. but hey are heavier than traditional bottles for sure. so I am cautious to use them on every ride. mainly only for REALLY hot days. 2 bottles filled are like an additional 5lbs, seriously

Water bottle Podium for Cervelo
I believe stainless steel bottles are a healthier alternative to plastic ones, but they come with several issues. While they are technically superior, the noise they make in their bottle cages can be distracting, and they often collide with the bicycle frame while riding. Additionally, they are difficult to remove from their cradles when biking, and there isn't a comfortable grip for pulling them out.I also think the top part of the bottle should have a rubber ring around it to prevent noise and scratches on both the bottle and the bike frame. Another issue I've encountered is that these stainless steel bottles tend to leak fluid when opened, which my plastic bottles do not. This spillage can leave watermarks on my bike and surrounding area. While I appreciate the concept of stainless steel bottles as a move away from microplastic particles, I feel that they require further engineering before being fully released to the public. Improvements should focus on making them easier to grip and removing the risk of bouncing against the bike frame. After one 50-mile training ride, I noticed numerous scratches and chips on the bottles, indicating the need for these enhancements. I see potential in this product, but it needs refinement.

Phenomenal
I live in TX and the summers here are hot. I’ve been out riding for several hours using this bottle and it has kept my drinks cold that whole time. It’s a great buy.

Camel back bottle
This bottle is fantastic so far. Thermally is ok . Long rides you without ice you will have warm ish water but cooler then a plastic bottle. With ice and it lasted me 2 hours in 30c weather before it wasn’t cold but still cool. I like the durability. The finish is fairly scratch resistant . But some kind of text true on the top of the bottle so sweaty hands won’t slip. Great bottle
