best sunscreen Ive used so far
i've been looking for a mineral sunscreen for a while because it's environmentally safe. I'm indian and quiet tanned and this doesn't leave me looking like I've white paint on my face:-). very slight white cast in the beginning of application which goes away after few minutes. This sunscreen is very moisturising, which is great for me as i have dry skin and psoriasis and doesn't irritate my skin. Maybe will be a bit too greasy for people with oily skin. Perfect for dry skin. The only thing is that it is a bit expensive for the amount you get, but i guess it's because its an US imported product therefor its way more cheaper in the US. I wish UK made a clear zinc oxide sunscreen for a reasonable price.

At last, no allergic rash!
My daughter is unable to use any normal face creams without coming out in an itchy raised rash. When she booked her holiday, she was unhappy about not being able to use sunscreen on her face (she didn’t have a problem using it anywhere else on her body) so we decided to try to get a suitable sun cream in time for her holiday. The thought of spending her entire holiday in a hat was miserable. After vigorous research, we tried a few different ones, spending too much wasted money on creams which claimed to be hypoallergenic and good for sensitive skin. With exactly the same rash reaction. We decided to go with the best cream that google suggested, although we hadn’t done so at first, as it’s not the cheapest.Hooray!! We had success. The cream is quite thick & is a bit white on application, but once rubbed in, it did the job. No sunburn or rash, just a nice holiday tan.So it’s worth spending a few more pounds to get something that actually does what it says.

Does a good enough job to prevent burning
I liked the all natural ingredients BUT I did have a few issues-it’s a small tube for the price so I hoped it would last ( -don’t think about sharing it if you want to do a proper job daily for a week) It is very solid to squeeze out and came out in a hard tube shape which was tough to spread and VERY greasy- As lots of the reviewers have said . It left a sheen on me which did unfortunately rub off (if you then put clothes over to then take off later to say swim - )it did rub off around shoulder straps and thighs so unfortunately I did get red but didn’t feel burnt as such - Also putting on face , hair sticks to face . It just didn’t soak in well enough for me . I will look at the lotion next time as I wouldn’t buy the cream in a tube again , too difficult and greasy to apply .Proof that it’s all natural , so much so that I found ants gorging on it when I didn’t put the lid on properly!! This I see as a good sign

Safe and effective? Yes.
When I go abroad on holiday I generally don't wear any sunscreen due to the dangers associated with the known carcinogens they contain - but this one is different. The Badger sunscreen is expensive compared to well known brands or shops own branded products but it works very well without the obvious problems caused by standard sunscreen. The first holiday I used this sunscreen on I was the only one who didn't get burned. My wife and son were burned while using a shops own brand (quite expensive) sunscreen. That is a great result for me since I was applying something without dangerous chemicals in AND I didn't get burned by the sun at all even though I lay in direct sunlight day after day.Basically if you care about the health of your organs (the skin is your biggest organ) go for this sunscreen. If you want to risk skin cancer and other known complications caused by standard sunscreen then be my guest.I will stick with the Badger sunscreen and although the consistency may be much thicker than 'normal' sunscreen I know that there is nothing in it which adversely affects health.Recommended.

Does not provide adequate protection against high UV + terribly greasy - AVOID
I was looking for a natural alternative and accepted that this one was very greasy but ended up with a pretty bad sunburn after applying it under a high UV index (in Hawaii...). Obviously noy great given the risk of skin cancer etc. after sunburns. This told me what I needed to know > this sunscreen does not work adequately. Maybe it's fine in the UK or Europe but definitely not soemwhere where the sun is strong.

Wonderful suntan lotion!
This lotion is the best I've ever used. I love that it comes out thick, so that it gives good protection, and that it's natural ingredients

Thickest greasiest product I've ever tried
Using this is like applying Sudocrem. It's really thick and greasy. You have to rub it in your hands for a while to loosen it up enough to apply. It's super greasy and doesn't sink in even after ages. Only used it twice so far and haven't burnt but it's going in the bin. Awful
