I like the design of this shoe. It has good padding under my feet and the design of the sole actually helps me to walk. The sides are built to give support and to let your feet breathe. They run true to size and loosen up a bit after some usage. Skechers are quality products! Billy Ray

I had bought some ultra cheap oxford style canvas shoes. The size was about double my foot size and the quality seemed low. I returned and spent $30 more to get these. First off, these look great. Stylish and matches well with jeans, which I wear 90% of the time. They also slip on and off easily without untying.The first few days they dug into my ankle slightly. That problem disappeared after a week and now I find them comfortable. I walk everyday on pavement, gravel, dirt and sand to a beach 1/4 mile from my house with my dogs.I am usually a Nike snob and spend $100 every year or two. I decided I needed to spend less money. So for about $60 total I got these. They look as nice as Nike's. I can say if they will last as long. They have a little less traction on a wet wooden porch than Nike's but otherwise traction is good.

I think these are as good as shoes twice the price. I added the elastic laces which make it easy toslip on and off. They are light and would be good for running, but I use them for walking and daily wear. I think they would work well if you have a job where you're on your feet all day. This is my second pair and I plan to buy another pair in the future.

I've found Sketchers always run big but this one was said to fit as expected by 85% of those who bought them. I'm a one of the 15 percenters. I wear an 11-D so I bought an 11 and it was about 1/2 size too big. The shoe is light. For that matter it's very light and probably the lightest shoe I've ever worn. And like the other Sketchers I've tried these have a high instep which is what I have and why I tried them. After I replaced the thin insoles with Sof Sole Airr insoles ($34.99 here on Amazon) the shoe fits much better and provides far greater support.

This is my first pair of Sketchers and I love them. They are very comfortable to walk and wear.

I've been walking using Sketchers Afterburn model. Recently I've had pain un my left forefoot area. I suspect it's from the slapping of my foot. The Afterburn doesn't have that much padding in that area.I bought these based on reviews and description of the model.Initially they fit great. I wear a 10.5 but bought an 11. I wear double socks when I walk.These GoRun models feel really soft. I like the look and they are lighter than the Afterburn model.I did my first 45 minute walk and I had no pain. So they are a success. The entire foot pillow is so different than regular Sketchers. Most of the shoe is cushioned from the mid to back so when you stride your weight us fully cushioned as you put your weight down when you stride. And you stride with no hard slapping.Time will tell how they hold up. But I like them and the price was very good.8/17/23The sole portion under the forefoot has already worn down to almost flat. The rest of the shoe still has good sole pads. I expected longer lasting. Time will tell if that affects cushioning. I would expect it would.

I have been so pleased with the Skechers Arch Fit design that I have bought no other type of shoe for well over two years. However, in spite of the fact that the online description of these shoes say they are Arch Fit, there is nothing to indicate that fact anywhere on the shoe box or in or on the shoes themselves. While they are attractive, comfortable and lightweight, the insole padding does not feel as supportive as my other Arch Fit shoes. And, the heel padding is not as comfortable. I will probably keep this pair simply for casual wear, but these will most likely not be my primary walking or exercise shoe.
