This is marketed as primarily an audio control knob, but audio control is actually just one use case. It has so many more uses if you configure the functions in synapse. It is my doomscrolling device, and I love it. Spin right scroll down, spin left scroll up, push down once = middle click to open in new tab. I use it with my left hand so my right hand can operate the mouse aiming simultaneously without having to worry about operating scroll or click with my fingers.It's also great for scrolling through pdf files and jogging through my NVR recordings so I can see the always prompt Amazon delivery persons and judge about at what height they dropped my latest package onto my front porch. I award style points for creative tosses.No but really if you do a lot of scrolling, maybe a paralegal suffering through legal docs or a video editor jogging through your latest edit, this thing is amazing.

Este control es el primer producto razer que compré juento los Nommo v2. Mi primera y última compra de Razer. Al recibirlo me llevé una grata impresión por la buena calidad de la construcción del control. Se sentía muy premium. Además, el empaquetado también me gustó mucho. Con estas primeras impresiones llegué a pensar que la calidad Razer iba a ser muy buena... pero no.Al otro día llegaron los altavoces Nommo v2. Los compré haciendo caso omiso de los comentarios que mencionaban que la configuración de estos altavoces eran un dolor de cabeza. Pensé "eso deben ser personas que a duras penas saben manejar un PC". Pues me equivoqué, porque efectivamente configurar los altavoces con Synapse es una experiencia bastante desagradable. Fue muy duro configurarlos, y la verdad, la calidad del sonido no me pareció la gran cosa.Volviendo al control, fue un problema muy grande lograrlo emparejar al PC. Casi que no lo reconoce. Y eso que mi placa base es un asus de gama alta. Luego, el problema era lograr que synapse reconociera el control, tuvieron que pasar dos días para que de pura casualidad lo reconociera.Como no estaba contento con estos altavoces decidí regalárselos a mi padre para que tuviera un equipo de sonido para su TV y terminé comprando los Edifier s351db (sabia decisión) ya que soy un gamer de toda la vida y solo me interesa el sonido de alta calidad para mis juegos.Mi padre al tener estos altavoces conectados a su tv, al comienzo el control funcionaba bien (subía el volumen, lo bajaba, lo muteaba...), pero de un momento a otro dejó de hacer esas funciones pese a que indican que están conectados a los altavoces. Me quedé una tarde completa tratando de configurarlos de nuevo para que estuvieran directamente conectados a los nommo, pero no quieren funcionar cómo debería. Usé la aplicación del celular, volví al pc con el synapse, traté de cambiar el modo de emparejamiento... y así un largo etc.La conclusión es que nunca un aparato electrónico como el razer nommo y su control me han generado tantos dolores de cabeza.Esta reseña girta en torno al control, pero el resumen de lo que sería una reseña de los altavoces Nommo v2 sería la siguiente:-Pagas la mitad de tu dinero no por la calidad del sonido sino por implementaciones innecesarias y malas: el rgb es mediocre a mi parecer, pensé que iban a tener más fuerza y el Thx spatial audio es horrible. No genera el efecto de sonido envolvente sino que el sonido se siente como ahogado, malo. Y para poder configurar el THX toca pagar 20 dolares por la suscripción de sonido envolvente de razer. Igual no vale la pena pagarlos porque dan un periodo de 30 días gratuitos y pese a configurar el thx del nommo, el sonido sigue siendo mediocre en comparación al sonido estereo. Parece que el thx es bueno solo en auriculares.Había comprado este control y parlantes con mucha ilusión y la verdad fue tremenda la decepción.

I bought this only to control my volume on my PC running Windows 11. I have no other Razor products, this works directly with my PC's Bluetooth. It works directly from the box without drivers or using Razor software.Functions- Turning right or left controls the volume- Pressing down once mutes- Double press pauses the audio (Does not work with Youtube)1. Unlike other reviews it wasn't hard at all to install batteries, turn to release the back, turn the opposite way to lock the back, super easy.2. I place the controller on mouse mat material and turning the wheel does not move the base as well, this would have been a deal breaker for me but was happy this wasn't the case for meOnly Negative- If I were to really nit-pick, I would say the the wheel is chucky (not alone isn't bad), it's a solid piece of hardware, being that the wheel is on the large size, the volume increments is smaller since it takes longer to turn the wheel. So going from 0 to 100% will take a few full turns to complete (but how often do you need to go from 0-100% quickly). Again, not a deal breaker.Overall, I'm really happy with it and recommend it fully as a volume controller.

Update: 3rd try finally got me a new device. The knob is sturdy and nicely built. Some of the photos have a grayish metal color. The device is darker metal material. Comes with 2x AAA Duracell batteries. I am using it for a easy volume control for my Windows machine on my desk. Love the way if feels an turns. It has a nice feel.At first the knob turn was a little more sturdy than I wanted. I opened the battery cover, removed the 4 screws, removed the part that holds the batteries, and then loosened the 2 board screws a slight bit. This will make your knob less firm and allow for the wheel to turn a slightly more with ease. Then I placed the parts back together making sure not to over-tighten 4 screws. Love it so far at 1 week of use.Original Review:Not sure what the problem is here, but I have ordered this product twice and it has been a used item. It has been opened, new seal broken, fingerprints all over, batteries already installed. Suppose to be new, and I am getting second hand product. I want new if it says NEW!

It was easy to set up to the app and to the speakers itself. The controller is easy enough and it was bigger than i expected.

Totally unnecessary, yet totally awesome. I can change keyboard binds, flip between audio outputs (speaker or headset) and adjust volume just from this little thing. I can do all of that through windows too but this is just much better since you don’t need to unhide a task bar or go into the volume control panel. Do you need it? No. Do you want it? If you answer yes, then you should buy it because it’s great.

It does everything it's supposed to, yet at a ridiculous price.You can adjust the volume up and down.Tap to mute or unmute.Takes real batteries.Has bluetooth.I have no idea what justifies the price tag.
