August Engineering AD 20.5 Aluminum Scales for Demko AD20.5 Shark Lock Knife not Included

The aluminum scales sit perfectly and flush with the pins. Pivot screw snapped right in(the swap is only good for aus10 version). You will need 2 longer screws for pocket clip, but I have extra parts in my workspace. If you decide to purchase the scales or backspacer; you WILL need longer screws.

These are good quality, but without a matching backspacer I returned them because it looked weird with the original bright white backspacer. Most scale sets include this since the knife won’t work without the backspacer. :(

This is a great set of scales. They are well built and fit perfectly the Demko AD20.5 with small pivot (including those with 3V, Aus10 and D2 steels). They only downside is that they seem to be slightly thicker than the stock scales. Although this may improve the grip, it results in the screws and standoffs not sitting flush with the scale (see picture). Probably a small issue for most people.

Literally took me about 10 minutes to do the swap I can't believe how easy it was it fits absolutely perfect zero problems with it I think people just got to make sure that you are doing the swap with the small pivot demco I do not believe the big pivot will fit correctly

Scales look great but the stock hardware for the pocket clip will not work as they are to short. I feel like the scales should come with longer screws since the scales are slightly thicker causing the pocket clip to not be able to be attached.
