The media could not be loaded. I bought these to fill with art products for Christmas for my granddaughters age 6 & 8. One of the latches on one of the boxes didn’t close right but the quality for the price was worth it. I had them decorate their boxes and now they have them whenever they come over.

I bought this set primarily for making a keepsake box for my young adult son. I painted/sealed the box, lined the interior with archival paper, added corner protectors and feet to make an attractive box for him to keep ticket stubs to various concerts and events, play bills, and various smaller momentos.The build quality is good. The wood just needed a very light sanding to take the paint and embellishments. It looks great, is a good size for the intended purpose, and is perfectly functional. There was not off smell at all, just a light smell of real wood which is understandable and expected for an unfinished real wood product. For me, this is a good value for the money.

I recently recieved two packs of wooden boxes measuring 12 x 9 x 3.1, and I must say, they are absolutely beautiful! Crafted from natural pine, the quality of these boxes is exceptional, showcasing their high-grade construction. The natural pine adds to their aesthetic appeal and gives them a premium feel.However, there was a minor issue with one of the boxes where the wood had split slightly, which was a bit frustrating. I'll need to sand it down before using it for any purpose. Despite this small hiccup, I plan to engrave the tops of these boxes and utilize them for exquisite gifting. Overall, these boxes are a perfect canvas for customization and will add an elegant touch to any gift.

The box was nice and sturdy. The workmanship was done well. You have to sand it down a bit, but only because of the type of wood it is. It's a lower grade wood and that is expected. Once sanded down and stained, it came out beautiful. It was a very nice purchase.

I had to take care of the lid the latches didn’t open because the lid warped .

I’m a sucker for a good box. I use things like this to store items for convention games and games with my local group. As well as general storage.When I opened the box I was hit with a beautiful pine smell. These are absolutely made of good quality pine. Seams are nice and even. Basic wood work quality is fantastic. The wood is thick as well. These should last quite a while.The hinges and locks are metal and also good quality. The locks actually lock and hold the boxes closed. The hinges are solid and in there tight. The lid opens and closes smoothly and the seams are tight.I have yet to put any stain on these but just from the feel, a basic light sanding should be the only prep work needed. I imagine I could just skip that a well for a nice ’rustic’ look and feel. I’m planning on making one of these a travel case and one for storing things at home. May try one of both!While the current price of @$33 might seem high, these are MUCH better quality than boxes I’ve seen for the same cost in my local arts and craft stores.
