Best laundry soap ever! Not only is Charlie's effective, it is economical, environmentally friendly, and gentle. Unexpected plus: Despite ongoing efforts to keep my 10-year-old washing machine tub clean, it still smelled of mold. After about 8 loads of laundry using Charlie's, the musty smell has disappeared. Our clothes, bedding, and towels are fresher and cleaner. And no need for fabric softener!

The media could not be loaded. We switched our family to Charlie’s Soap from Tide about a week after our son came home from the hospital because we realized our clothes (which had Tide residue on them) were giving him a rash. Once we made the switch, his rashes went away! He’s now 8 months old.Charlie’s Soap leaves our clothes smelling fresh. It also does a great job of getting out baby stains (e.g., poop, spit up) but does require pre-treating for larger messes.We also do a lot of laundry (at least 3-4 times a week) and the small bag lasted us 4 MONTHS. Insane how long this detergent lasts. Why did you pick this product vs others?:Best laundry soap ever. We are fragrance sensitive, and this product is fragrance free, leaves no fragrance whatsoever. Also cleans really well, even grease. Also feel good that this product is eco-friendly.

My son is 2 and we have been on a mission to find a detergent that is hypoallergenic, cruelty free AND works. Charlie’s is it!!!! The last detergent we used claim to be hypoallergenic, but still caused my son’s skin to itch, and wasn’t great with stains. I am so shocked at how great this detergent works! I washed some stained onesies he grew out of 6 months ago to donate and Charlie’s actually got the stains out!! My son is no longer itchy and my clothes are beautifully clean. The price point is high, but after wasting money on detergent that didn’t work, this is well worth it to me!

It is unscented, cleans well, small bag lasts a long time, clean ingredients and easy to use. Stores well, although I did put it in a different container because it’s easier to get it out than the bag.

Charlie's Soap checks all the boxes: very effective cleaner, minimal packaging*, takes up little space, environmentally friendly, free of perfumes, etc. & after 2-3 washes it really does eliminate the need for fabric softener. Even w/ my Thor-Lo's -> their directions say to always use fabric softener, but after 2-3 washes w/ Charlie's Soap, they don't need the softener anymore + I use the wool balls & they soften clothes & reduce drying time. *plastic bag is recyclable, but please take just 2 seconds & cut the Ziploc part off the top of the bag 1st, as it doesn't recycle in most places

Why did you pick this product vs others?:This is my second purchase of Charlie's Soap--because the first worked so well! Clothes come out cleaner--and softer--than any liquid detergent I ever used.And, unlike plastic bottles--or even detergent sheets which are actually worse because they contain microplastics, this simple powder contains no plastics--and the bag is even compostable! It's also economical, you only need one tiny scoop so the price per load is really low.So--you get better cleaning, softness, ecological--and value in one product! Why would you use anything else?
