Good quality for price. Adequate wiring instructions

It's a well built and powerful motor. Not too loud. Wiring info is adequate for anyone who's fairly handy. If your a total noob at wiring up a 110v a/c motor you'll probably need to do some internet research to learn a few things before trying it yourself but it's not crazy complex. Especially if your just wiring it up for one direction with an on/off toggle switch like me. I'm using it for a home made 2x72 belt grinder i've built. I have to say that it is heavier and larger than I expected but I think it's a pretty standard size for the type and power rating. For a good and inexpensive motor on a simple single speed 2x72 grinder build I highly recommend it.

Not too good

First one arrived with dented fan cover. Fixed it, had electrician wire for 220. After 30-40 mins it would overheat and shutdown. Ordered replacement, came with dented fan cover again. Wired for 220 same thing, overheats and shuts down. Tried at 110 and it worked! No overheating but after three days starting clicking. Got louder and louder with each use so I am returning this one too. Will try another brand.
