A great bit of kit - it does exactly what you would expect it to do - presses trousers extremely well!
I have had an older version of the Corby Trouser Press for about 20 years and it was finally starting to show its age so I traded up for the newer model. I've not been disappointed. The 7700 that I've bought looks the part and is a bit taller than the old model so it is able to press rather more of the trousers and it does so extremely well. I tend to use the 30 minute pressing programme more than the other 2 available times (15 and 45 minutes) but I can see that both the others would be useful for either a very quick press or a very creased pair of trousers respectively. Some care is required when positioning the trousers in the press to ensure that the creases end up where you want them to be but, other than that, using the press couldn't be more straightforward. An ideal bit of kit if you like your suit trousers to look the part on a daily basis. Highly recommended

I don’t possess an iron, and generally prefer clothes that do not need pressing. However, work trousers do look a bit shabby after a few wears. I find the Corby trouser press quite useful for refreshing the main crease and removing most if not all the unwanted ones. I have mounted mine on the wall to save space, which was pretty straightforward. I recommend this product if you are in the market for sharper trousers and minimal effort.

PRESSING NEED FOR SMART TROUSERS
I bought this trouser press at best price ever through Amazon. As a trouser press, it is excellent, making my old crumpled trousers look like new, and smartening up better trousers for everyday use. However, I have given it four stars only instead of five, because of the difficulty of assembly. The feet were difficult to attach, at least for someone of my indifferent DIY skills. The reason for that was because the tabs onto which they were supposed to fit seemed to be marginally too large for the slots into which they were designed to fit. I eventually solved this by doing a tiny amount of sanding on the slots and tabs. Then the feet suddenly clicked into place with a twist, rather than sliding on as the instructions suggested.I then experienced a problem trying to fit on the coat hanger. I just could not screw the darned hook onto which it clicks onto the trouser press. Maybe I had the wrong type of screwdriver, but I just couldn't get the screws to go all the way in. I was unwilling to drill anything in case I damaged to press. So the coat-hanger now hangs rather loosely on the back of the trouser press. Not a big problem, but a minor irritation.I do hope that my amateur attempts at DIY have not invalidated the guarantee.By the way, I think it is a bit disingenuous of Amazon to recommend buying a luxury brand of water softener to accompany this product. No water of any kind should go anywhere near this trouser press. It is not designed to use it - and it could cause an electrical malfunction if the appliance got wet.

Great for domestic home use.
Upgraded after around twenty years of using a Morphy Richards press, wall mounting was very similar but did require two new holes to be drilled, 3 timer settings is a benefit and the press compression is far superior, trousers come out with a razor like seam, very professional unit, reasonable prices, opted for the express delivery who h cost a little extra but it was delivered the following day.

A cool first-rate product
I had another Corby, the 3000 which has given me excellent service over many years. The 7700 is just an exceptional trouser press. The three different minute settings/cycles deliver very good pressing for all kind of material I am sure that my trousers will always be precisely pressed and above all without the back of knee wrinkles. A very good product at a good price.

Perfect solution
This product delivers on all levels.Extremely stylish, easy to set up, simple to use.I place my suit trousers in at night, hang a short and jacket on the back. Leaves me ready to go first thing in the morning, with fresh pressed trousers.Pressing action is great, leaves trousers looking fresh and does not shine them like an iron.

Okay but not very good
a few reasons why I give it only 3 stars1/ I'm about 1m86 tall. That's tall, but not as basketplayer tall. There are a lot of people of my height. But the Corby is not a match for my height. I like it when the seams of a trouser go rather high. Can't do it with this press.2/ When the trouser is really wrinkled (eg after washing it) it will have a hard time getting the wrinkles out. Even after one hour of pressing it didn't give a good result. So I had to iron the trousers by myself. So it's good for maintaining a seam, not for heavy duty.3/ It doesn't shutdown completely. So if you put your trousers in when you go to sleep it wil be powered on for the whole night. I was a bit surprised by this, since it has a digital countdown display and I assumed it would power off at 0. Can't be difficult to add such a feature these days. Corby needs to start thinking green :p4/ The tray for your keys and change is rather small. And it would have been nice if there was a place/hook to put your belt on.5/ It's UK design, so your zipper should be left instead of right when you put your trousers in the press. Just kidding of course :pPositive:It's easy to setup. The seam is sharp. It was very cheap on Amazon. Kind of crazy that this one is cheaper than the lower classes of this product.Shipment was very fast.
