Awesome lights! IMPORTANT NOTE!: The cycle becomes activated once you put the batteries in! If they do not begin to light up at the time of day you want them to, just pop out one battery and put it back in to trigger the start of the light cycle :)

LOVE these! We do not decorate for Christmas but live on a cul-de-sac where everyone does something. We bought 9 of these: three white, three red, and three green and popped them on the tree by our front door. Festive and sooooo easy. Do keep in mind that each bulb needs 3 AA batteries to operate. It is Dec. 28, and we have had ours up since the 1st. They are still going strong. We will store without the batteries once the season is over. Picture doesn’t do them justice. My lighted wreath sort of washed them out.

I have the red, green, blue and white, which I love. I wanted to add the gold, but it is basically the white one sprayed with some gold paint. Light shines through spots with no paint. They look okay in the daytime, but they don’t fit with the solid colors and don’t give off much light at night. The light they do give off is white, not yellow or gold.Update: I gave them to my sister, and she lives the brocade look, so I am updating the rating.

Despite putting all brand-new batteries into all our Xodus lights, THEY DO NOT work as advertised. Sure, they light up for about a couple of hours, mostly during daylight! But after **maybe** a couple of hours of dark, they all go out. They ALL.GO.COMPLETELY.OUT.So far (3 days), we can see them light up at 4 in the afternoon in broad sunlight; but they are completely dark by 10 pm and don't work again until 4 p.m. the next day. I am still waiting to see if they will stop working altogether. But really, who cares? I bought them to light up at night. They only do this a little, and are far far FAR too expensive in both product and the batteries they require to be non-functioning

We tried to use lights on a front tree but had problems with the electrical outlet. These battery-powered ornaments were the perfect Plan B. They are very attractive and the lights in them work beautifully! They go on at dusk and last for about 8 hours. They pulse on and off the whole time. We got the green, red and white and all seem to glow at about the same strength - not too dim and not too bright. They've been through several rain storms by now and are still going strong. Highly recommend!

We hung these on our outdoor trees and got so many compliments from the neighbors! We bought green, white, red and all were bright and beautiful. They’re easy to assemble, 3 batteries each with a screw on top, but worth it not to have to turn everything on/off every night. They illuminate automatically at dawn and stay on for about 8 hours. They have a kind of “surge” from bright to full every few seconds which makes them twinkle, so charming!

I wasn't sure what to expect, but these are great outdoor decorations. They are plastic and very light weight, but they look like glass and hang nicely. The battery lasted the season so we never had to replace them, and the pulse effect is a nice touch.

Perfect for outdoor trees where electricity is far or nonexistent. Designed very smart with a Pulsing feature and automatical on/off light sensor so no need for timers or manual operation. Insert 3 AA in each of these and just hang where desired, so simple. Only wish they were brighter and wish they would sell these in a multi color combo instead of same colors.
