The design and ease of use are good, though
I don't know why, but my water tastes a bit different after being frozen here. I am not sure if it's my dishwasher, or the silicone dissolving somehow in my tray, but after using these ice cubes, I sometimes see white floaties in the water. I have taken to washing these ice cubes off under normal tapwater and the floaties go away. Have not had this experience with plastic ice trays and this is my first silicone one. The design and ease of use are good, though.

Not bad, but not great.
This is a pretty cool ice cube tray. It's too bad it's not made out of plastic though, or maybe if there was some kind of strength engineered into cube wells. The design on the sides embosses very well into the cube. However since it is flimsy silicone the cubes freeze in a misshapen way. I tried freezing the trays (I bought 2) 4 different times. Every single cube had a bulge in it (-1 star). The other issue (as others have mentioned) is that it can be tricky to fill it with water, and then put it in the freezer (-1 star). If you have the space try filling the tray after you put in the freezer.

Hard to get into the freezer
The cubes come out super cute, but because this is a soft tray it's fairly difficult to get it from the sink to the freezer without spilling it everywhere. The tray is really floppy. I'd recommend getting a little plate or board to set it on to keep it flat and even (the softness also affects the shape of the cubes, which can become bloated on one side if the tray isn't perfectly flat and straight). Otherwise it's a fun novelty item.

Not bad
At first, there was a white film on the ice that would come out in the drink; this happened for months. After a year and a few washes, the ice is fine. Somewhat difficult to extract the ice from the mold. The flimsy nature of the mold makes transport of a freshly filled tray from the sink to the freezer a future mopping requirement.

Love it, and details are beautiful!
Love it!It is silicon, so when you put water in it, you better make sure you have a flat surface in the freezer to put it.The cubes, when frozen, are slightly hard to pop out, but can be done, just turn tray upside down and push each individual cube out.Details are great! I just wish there was a rigid 'spine' on it so tray stayed flat and didn't sag so much.It is silicon, so it is to be expected.Cubes are slightly bigger then I thought they'd be, but works and looks great!

Works good but super hard to remove cubes
No holes or anything, but none of the reviews I read said what a pain in the ads it is to get the cu es out. Works good but super hard to remove cubes...I suggest finding a hard plastic companion cube tray.

This tray was great for my son's Portal 2 birthday party
This tray was great for my son's Portal 2 birthday party. I used the tray to make jello jigglers companion cubes and it worked. To remove the cubes a set the tray in a hot water for about 15 seconds and the cubes came out with ease. I tried it with Jell-O brand and also with agar agar Japanese product. Both worked great.

Jello fun
Works great for jello particularly (I did orange and blue jello for a party), with regular ice it’s a little harder to see the cute details but it still works. Didn’t stain with the jello food coloring, which is great!
