I’ve used D’Addario strings for years, and the EXL125-3D set continues to be one of the best options out there for electric guitar players. This 3-pack is excellent value, especially if you go through strings regularly like I do.The hybrid gauge (9-46) gives the perfect balance: the lighter top strings make bending easy and expressive, while the heavier bottom strings provide solid rhythm tones with plenty of punch. Excellent guitar strings.
Always totaly reliable strings.Ilike the wound 3rd for my Sheraton. D'addario strings for acoustic and electric are an excellent choice. did sway to some Ernie balls for that super slinky feel, but I always recommend D'addario strrings to any of my guitar customers..

A bit tingy
Nice cheap strings for the chord players. Robust and hold the tuning well. A bit tingy or twangy for lead guitar. This can be compensated for wit pedals and PA settings

I refuse to use any other strings for electric guitars
I have been using D'Addario strings for electric guitar from early 1990s. I have found them to be the best value for money of all manufacturers that I have tried.They stay break-in relatively quickly, stay in-tune, intonation is consistent between sets, never rust, sound consistent for life of string, last longest of any string I have tried, never snap during tuning until end of life.
