The switch i received wasnt quite the same as i thought i had purchased through amazon. This being said though the switch is fully in working order. The only waterproof part about it is a rubber boot, the switch its self isnt waterproof at all, with big gaps between the shell casing and threads, if you are installing it on something that is used on the water, such as a fishing kayak like i am, its recommended to put a big thick blob of marine silicon on the top base of the switch before fitting it. and also putting silicon on the threads before tighting the retaining nuts should seal it further.

Bought this to replace the broken rocker switch on air pump for car. Solder some connector and screwed the in and fitted switch. Works perfectly and gives a satisfying snap/feel when used.Have also bought one of these previous to wire a 12v socket on a motorbike. Nice hidden switch to use with satnav etc.

Arrived in good time however, the item that arrived bears little resemblance to the picture, I required screw terminals, item received has Lucar slide connectors, I required terminals at either end of switch, item that arrived has one terminal central on switch. I feel it is a shame that the item pictured is not necessarily what you get!! Not worth the hassle to return items as it will cost more than a replacement

If you prefer switches rather than buttons these are tip top, being a bit retro the switch is easy to use, direct click when switched, wires easy to fit on the switch with cable either soldered or push fitting clips. So good I purchased some extras

I bought this as a main on/off switch for a model boat I made my daughter, they are very easy to install and so far have stayed water tight. What I like about them is that they are quite tough to switch, so the boat doesn't switch on and drain the batteries when knocked or brushed accidently.

Not tested the waterproofing side of things because, let's be honest, who would unless necessary?However it's a toggley switch that flicks. It's got a big (relatively speaking) face plate with ON and OFF written in bold font. I use it to isolate my solar panel. I often spend hours toggling about.Simple minds.

On the dash of my motorbike they have performed brilliantly, very easy to use and the click feels solid. great quality, one of my better buys.
