I've used these types of cables for years. They're on the budget friendly side. However in terms of sound quality they perform just as good as more expensive cables. If treated properly there's no reason they shouldn't last for many years. I had my last one for 5 years and it broke eventually at an event when a crowd of people were walking all over it.The range of colours is nice, much less boring than the old black and the purple is still unobtrusive.
