Great! Unlike the photo on the product page, there is no hole in the bottom. This is good if you're using it for a pen, but bad if you're using it for a toothbrush holder. I'm using it to hold an Apple Pencil 2, so the hole/no-hole did not matter, but I'm glad there's no hole, so I can protect the stylus tip: The inside bottom of the holder looks like silicon, just like the no-slip outside bottom.The holder weighs enough to hold the Pencil 2, but feels a bit more stable with the stylus tip up.

Just as expected. Looks like the photo; smooth finish; not shiny (as pictured); nicely weighted to hold a pen elegantly.
