Loved the color and how easy it was to apply.

Today’s Daphne Blake hair color was brought to you by Clairol Color Crave Shimmering Copper. I give it 3 out of 5 stars. It did what it said it would do. It temporarily colored my hair and it washed out easily without staining. However it was really messy to use. It got everywhere while I was putting it on and it rubbed off on anything that touched my hair, even after it was dry. It gave my hair a dry and rough texture and it faded out from too much brushing and touching. If I ran my hands through my hair they were copper. Do not use a brush you ever want to use again when you use this product. It came out easily, two rounds of shampoo, and there was no staining even though I'm a bottle blonde and sometimes my hair likes to grab color.

Bought for Halloween ~ barely works. Other brands work much better.

I needed orange hair for Halloween to dress up as Misty (Pokémon). This product is easy to apply (swipe on hair, comb through, blow dry), it didn’t have an unpleasant smell like other temporary hair colorings sometimes have, and it gave me the perfect color for my costume! I would recommend styling as much as possible before applying the hair color, as it does get on your hands when you touch your hair. I read another review that mentioned that it faded from hair too much when brushed, and although I didn’t personally have this problem, I could see potential for it. If you need a washout color change, I definitely recommend this product!

Got this to add some fun to my natural coils. You MUST shake the bottle very will before application and do keep and old towel handy. It doesn’t stain but it is more liquid than I thought. Lasts all day.

I color my hair and don't want it to be obvious as a solid color. So, I use Clairol Color Crave Hair Color Makeup, applying it by dabbing it on my natural bristle hair brush, then brushing it through my hair. If I get too much in one area, I can wipe it off with a face wipe/makeup remover sheet, or a damp cotton ball. When the product dries (it isn't stiff at all), I brush my hair again and then style it. I use a curling iron and the product doesn't damage my hair. It's very gentle. There are several shades to choose from for the effect you want. It can also be used as directed for large sections of color.

Great idea and trust to Clairol to come up with this. Does NOT stain. You can better set the color by using a light setting on your hair dryer to set. Comes out when you wash hair. Caution: the sponge applicator is useless as it comes apart after about three uses. Contacted Clairol but no real answer as to why. I suggest you use a spoolie brush, a fine tooth comb, or some other device to aid application. This is made in Italy. I bought a couple of colors, and after trying, I bought a duplicate of each. Color choices are great; some are natural and some are a little "out" there.

I think there should be better specifications for this product : Its messy, its really not good for your hair (it indicates that you need to put it on dry hair & then use a blow dryer on it. Also, having to put it on with a sponge is just wrong. It also can damage the clothes that you're wearing after application. Its an amusing idea, but not very practical. I would not recommend this to anyone.
