Perfect Solution for Free-Range Chickens – Secure and Easy to Set Up!
I’ve been using this electric netting fence with an electric charger to let my chickens free range, and it’s been a great solution. The setup was straightforward, and it provides a secure boundary to keep my chickens safe while allowing them plenty of space to roam. The charger is reliable, and the netting is sturdy enough to withstand the chickens moving around without collapsing. It’s an excellent way to give my chickens more freedom while keeping them contained. Highly recommend for anyone with free-range chickens!

Easy to set up!
I have to say this was way easier to set up than I expected. I read the directions, watched a couple videos on Premier 1’s YouTube channel and I had it put up with ease. Had a very little problem with getting the electric pulse all the way through to the end of fence but made an adjustment and it worked. Very very pleased with this product. Built well and functions as expected. It is pricey but I knew it would be worth it if it functioned properly, which it does. I bought 48” tall by 100” long fence with charger. Also bought another fence 48” tall by 164” long. Very pleased!

Works great!
We were having a problem with a fox getting our free range chickens. We decided to buy the premier electric netting fence. We have had it 1 1/2 months now. It’s working great! No more fox problems! The chickens seem very happy staying in the fence. The fence was very easy to put up. We did have a problem getting the voltage up when we first put it up. It would read 1.5. We called and talked to tech support. They had us look at the ends of the fence. On 1 end of the fence the rope was down below the plastic & was touching the metal part of the pole. Moved it up on the plastic & it has read 10.5 or higher ever since. I did charge the solar battery the night before we tried the fence. I have not charged it since. We live in Ohio & it is staying charged just from the sun. We called the customer service & a person answered the phone. We told them what our problem was & they transferred us right to a tech that solved our problem. Would highly recommend this fence!

No more snacks for the fox!
We were losing free range birds quite often, and I first thought it to be neighborhood dogs, but I saw the young red fox midday while sitting in the lawn chair just come blasting right by me with tunnel vision chasing a chicken. Since getting this we have lost none. I had worries they would just fly over it like they did my other fences in the past, but once they got a shock a couple of times, they keep away and do not attempt flying over.It is quite expensive, but the setup all works well. I can move the two fairly easy within an hour being careful not to snag it. I plan to switch over to a portable coop so we have more options.

Good for about 2 years
I purchased this exactly 2 years ago for a small flock of chickens I had, surrounding a coop I built myself. The fence itself has held up reasonably well, although one of the fence stakes broke off about three months ago. While some parts are a bit stretched out, the fence itself continues to be serviceable. The energizer seemed to work well during this time, also, with the solar panel supplying enough to keep the battery charged most of the time. However the energizer IS pricey compared to other brands and options and it gave out on the day the warranty expired, ceasing to provide any power to the terminal. It's very easy to install and use, but alternatives might be worth looking into especially for smaller operations given the expense and limited life of the energizer.
