Actually Works – Brought My Powerstroke Back to Life!
I was skeptical at first, but this stuff really works. I used REV X Stiction Fix on my 6.0L Powerstroke that had rough starts, poor idle, and sluggish acceleration — all classic signs of stiction issues. Within a few hundred miles, I noticed a smoother idle and quicker throttle response. Cold starts are way easier now too. What I love is that it’s not a temporary fix. After the treatment, I ran another oil change with REV X again and it’s been running strong. No more injector issues, no check engine light, and my fuel economy even improved slightly.Highly recommend for anyone running a diesel engine, especially if you’re experiencing the dreaded stiction symptoms. It’s not cheap, but it’s way more affordable than replacing injectors.

Fantastic product.
I have a 2005 Ford Excursion 6.0. Been running cold start for a decade or more. We had to plan 20 minutes of warm up before it would go smoothly and then still was rough. My husband heard about Rev X. We tried it with almost immediate results. Runs smooth with fantastic power.

There are other great products, but RevX exceeds the scope!!
EDIT: March 2021. My first review was from October 2019.I was convinced I had injector issues again, 1 specific injector, or suspected harness issues after an issue with a repair a while back. This time it's stuttering/missing when cold, even at higher ambient temps. (North Texas) it'd take 10 minutes to finally clear up enough to accelerate without it feeling like it was about to lay down. This felt different, more pronounced and at any temp, until it was fully warmed up, and even after sitting for an hour or so after being warm. Before looking for someone I can trust to diagnose it (I have a couple of other thing things to do as well) I decided to once again roll the dice and see if RevX would make any difference. This time I cranked the cold truck and backed it out of the garage and while it was idling, I poured 2 bottles into the oil fill tube. Cleaned up, tinkered and within 5 minutes went for a drive. This isn't something I'd ever believe and I'm still perplexed, but there wasn't even 1 miss, it was smooth as can be. It was a short 5 or so miles in 30-50MPH driving, then parked for just over an hour and back home. It's an uphill climb leaving the gym and surprisingly it had the smooth power back. I've been running it stock for quite a while. All the way home, it was just happier, smoother, accelerates better etc. I know this probably sounds like a chintzy paid ad or something but it's not. I order a 4 pack last night because it could be delivered early AM (got it at 5:30AM) so I could get it in the motor so I could decide whether I needed to bring it in to someone. I'm sold. The name always made me think of it as a gimmick, but whatever it is, it cleared the stiction as soon as the oil cycled. I'm going to just add 1 bottle every oil change to keep it healthy. I'll expect my MPG will get may to normal now too.Again, I'm not getting anything for this, no one has asked me to do this, it's just bizarre to me how well it works in my case. If you actually have injector or other issues (FICM) obviously it won't help at all. In my case, it has a rebuilt, slightly hot FICM, and all the 6.0 fixer-up stuff (studs, bullet proofed, Power Max turbo, exhaust etc.)++++++++ ORIGINAL REVIEWI've had my Excursion with 6.0 since new. A few years ago I started having cold start issues and while I've never really subscribed to additives, I gave Hot Shot Secret a try. By the 2nd day cold starts cleaned right up and the truck actually ran even better.Fast forward to this year. Not really any cold start issues, but definitely what I'd call stuttering until the oil temp came up. It seemed like injector issues based on how it started, ran cold but even noticed subtle stuttering/missing at consistent hwy speed. I noticed it was smoky also, as if it wasn't making enough boost for the fuel.In March I tried HSS again although this was different from the first time. Not really any changes, so I was preparing for injectors. Last week I figured $75 was worth a long shot try with RevX, and it was time for an oil change. I kid you not, after getting done, running it to get everything circulated, I took a drive and want able to find the stutter. The next day, same thing. Being cautious, I gave it another couple days and I can't deny, the stuttering was gone, completely. Starts were smoother and no smoke, even under quick acceleration where at least a little swoft of smoke would be normal. It's idling smoother, running cleaner, smoother power and mpg are back where they should be.To ad, I run a tuner, written right and specific to the changes to the truck but also a little more aggressive, to say the least.I think, from my experience, RevX is better for over all injector cleaning. HSS also works but I think it depends on of the actual problem is. I'd absolutely recommend RevX at the first thing to try.FYI, I did this on a whim, expecting to be replacing injectors, so I'm thrilled how well the truck is running now. It's better all around which is to be expected when contribution is so out of whack. Now way can the truck run right with such a difference injector performance. This is obviously critical with turbo diesel.

Definitely boost turbo and power!
I have a 2003 Duramax 6.6. I just recently did an oil change 12 quarts and I put one of these in a day after I did the oil change and noticed a big difference in my turbo and power.!! I was so impressed. I ordered a second bottle and just put it in today.!! This will be my new routine while changing oil two bottles treats 8 quarts good enough for me. Recommended would be three bottles for 12 quarts but even after one I noticed the huge improvement My Truck is fast.!!

DUDE! If you have a 6.0 with stiction this is the ticket!
My '06 6.0 Powerstroke has had stiction issues for probably the last 7 years or so.It began with cold starts in the winter at about 90k miles so I tried Archoil because it was a little cheaper. I'd heard good things about that product but it didnt seem to make a difference in my cold morning starts.Since it didn't work, I assumed I was destined for new injectors but figured I'd just deal with the issue for as long as I could.Fast forward several years and 100k miles later and now the stiction is worse than ever, even in 90 degree weather. It would miss, be down on power and run like crap until the oil temp hit at least 130 degrees. Even then it wasn't 100%.I was getting ready to order a set of Ford reman sticks but before spending $1,600+ (I do my own work) I figured I'd drop $65 on some Rev-X just to see if it was as good as everyone always said. Now, I'm here to tell you that this stuff is awesome!I put 2 bottles in my oil two evenings ago and ran it for about 15 miles. The next morning it seemed like it ran better but I thought maybe it was just a placebo effect or something. Nope! After another 80 miles or so my truck runs better than it has on years, hot or cold. I'm serious! After sitting at work for 9 hours I used to have to let it warm up a few minutes and even then it was a bear to merge onto the highway because it would spit, sputter and be down on power for the first mile or so.When I left today, pulling onto the highway was awesome because it had full power and it was as smooth as silk.I don't leave many reviews but I'm sold on this stuff and figured my fellow 6.0 guys need to know about this magic so they too can give it a try before shelling out a small fortune for new injectors.I don't know how it will continue to work over time and maybe I'll have to shell out an extra $65 every oil change but that's fine with me as long as I can hang onto my $1,600+ for a little while longer at least.Rev-X, you rock!
