12 inch handle and 3 inches more with the scoop. It did not fit the 5 gallon jar 2 inches short from the bottom might do though once the ice goes in it. And also 12oz is without a shake it's an exact 12oz if anything it has a tilt to it so it helps.

Bought this huge ladel to line with pounded chicken that you fill with stuffing then flap meat over to create a ball so the size should be perfect. Can't wait to try this new hack I discovered on IG.

The ladles work great. You can buy the portion size ladle that you need to fill any size bowl.

good but not a great dipper.
I purchased the 12 oz. dipper and it seems sturdy enough but the edges on the handle make it uncomfortable to use.
