Great garbage can! Everyday I eat a Kind bar and a banana on the way to school. This garbage can sits securely on the floor behind the font seats and has a band that holds trash bags in place. By the end of the week my trash bag gets thrown away and my car stays clean. Of course l feel a bit like my grandmother who also had a car trash can, but it’s nice to have.

Well made, but it's a little on the large side, but I suppose not "too" large. I suppose it's trying to fit that difficult balance between "big enough to hold some trash" and "small enough to fit inside the cramped space of a car". It basically works great so long as you don't expect any occupant in the area where you place it on the floorboard. We got it in preparation for a very long road trip for two, and with a whole back seat unoccupied, it should work great. I'm not sure it will won't be in the way too often in normal use with a family of three, long term. We'll see. It sure beats not having a proper place to collect trash.

I love the size, rigidity (dont like the soft bags where i can't just throw something in), the rubber band that holds a bag in place. My only issue is that it leans out to the middle of the foot well instead of against the center console. I bought two and for both of my cars the shape of the floor and carpet makes it lean out instead of in. If i can find a way to make it lean against the console it'd be absolutely perfect. Still better than any other options ive tried. I really like the idea that the clip on the bottom holds it in place, just not quite the right place. I wish car mfrs would build something in!

This looked like it would fit perfectly on the rear floor behind the center console. What I didn't take into account was that the heavy duty floor mats had a high lip around them, especially along the front of the rear floor mat. So the floor mat clip, while a great idea won't work there. So I looked around for plan B. I tried placing it under the middle back seat and it fits and the lip around the bottom of the seat holds the can in place with a couple inches sticking out to allow trash to be put in. So far it has remained in place. Of course if the seats are lifted up for additional storage I'll have to figure out what to do with the can, but for normal use it works fine and doesn't fall over. Also tried putting the can in the driver door compartment under the arm rest.. It sort of fits but is tight there and is angled forward. Would have to cut it down a bit to fit correctly. Maybe someone will make one that fits perfectly.The band to secure a bag in the can is an added nicety. So a nice trash can for a car if you have room and best if you have reasonably thick carpet mats.UPDATE: Bought a pack of 3M Command strip black with stainless steel hooks. I put this below the light on the rear of the center console and hooked that to the band and that is holding it securely so far. Very satisfied.

I knew it was going to be a smaller trash can, but I was expecting to be able to put more than 2 empty water bottles in it

Great size. Won’t hold a weeks worth of takeout trash, but you shouldn’t be leaving that kind of trash in the truck, ya’ animal! 😜Clipped it to the section of the floormat between the two rear footwells (Honda Ridgeline). I don’t throw away a lot of wet or greasy trash, so I don’t need a liner. Just pull it out, and dump it when you’re getting gas, or home/office.Highly recommend!

I wanted a trash can I could put in my passenger floor board where I typically just drop receipts and straw wrappers to make cleaning up my car easier. I drive a Mazda CX-3 so it is not a large vehicle. It fits well in the front passenger seat as long as you don't have a passenger so it has been moved to the back seat for the sake of comfort. However, it does stay where you put it, and since it is a hard sided trash can I don't have to worry about whether or not I've managed to get my trash in it when I'm reaching blindly, which was an issue I had with soft sided trash receptacles in my back seat.

This is the best thing since coffee!!! It is so hard to find trash containers for autos/trucks etc. we just purchased a new truck that has the weather tech mats in it. We love that and then wondered how will we keep a trash container stable???We didn’t want the kind that hang over the back of the seat.This just came today and I was so excited to see if it would work. The video shows using it with regular car mats that you lay in the car- this worked perfect because our mats have a lock seam that is in the middle where the between the seat console is. All I had to do was unlock it to slide the can holder apparatus on then relock it. The container slid on perfect and I am ecstatic!!!! It doesn’t move!!!!!!The fact that it has the bag holder band is super, and I can store extra bags in the bottom corners, so no need to pull the container out every time it needs to be emptied!!!Kudos to the genius that thought this one up- I highly recommend this. Best auto/truck trash container we have ever owned!!!!
