great product for anyone who is looking for a pre-workout that is inexpensive and comprised of natural ingredients
Optimum Nutrition Amino Energy is a great product for anyone who is looking for a caffeine boost or pre-workout that is inexpensive and comprised of natural ingredients. I am basing this judgement on simplicity of ingredients, cost per serving, taste, and overall effectiveness.I have used several popular pre-workout brands over the past few years and noticed they all caused my skin to break out. I bought this product because it contains the simple ingredients of amino acids and natural-sourced caffeine, so I know I won’t have that issue. There is also 0 sugar and only 5-10 calories per serving which is great for anyone who is trying to lose weight.Though I have seen complaints, I have found the unique serving size helpful. Many other products contain around 300mg per serving, which can make you jittery and keep you awake hours later. With 50 grams of caffeine per scoop of Amino Energy, it is very easy to control the strength of the drink you make to fit your use and caffeine tolerance. I generally mix 2-3 scoops with cold water as a pre-workout. This amounts to $0.67-$1.00 per use, which is much cheaper than most other products.I have tried 6 of the 29 flavors and really enjoyed them all. Amino acids can have a distinct taste that is difficult to mask, but I think Optimum Nutrition does a great job of blending it with their flavors. There is a wide variety of fruit and coffee-based options to choose from. You can have a scoop of iced caramel macchiato or vanilla iced latte as a morning pick-me-up and then use strawberry-lime or watermelon for a more traditional pre-workout taste. If you are looking to try a new pre-workout and you value natural ingredients, I highly recommend buying Optimum Nutrition’s Amino Energy.

One of the best BCAA's I've tried so far. Tastes great, boosts my energy and is definitely worth the price. Unlike some other products that I've tried, this does not have a strong taste and is really like drinking iced coffee. This lasts for less than couple of months since I go to the gym (or workout at home) 5 days a week and have two scoops of this during workout.

DELICIOUS!!!
OMG... okay, I thought the MoCA and vanilla were good and I'm not even a caramel lover but this is amazing! It gives me a good energy not only go to the gym but even do such mundane things as clean the house! I work nights so this is definitely helpful to get me motivated... BEST FLAVOR yet!

Good breakfast
I love this before a paddle, a ride, or on the way to the gym. Caffeine is energizing without adding jitters; I have yet to crash as I do with other 'energy drinks'. I mix it with almond milk for an early morning breakfast without bloating or discomfort.

Caramel Latte, Half-and-Half
Huge fan of AE. Gets you through the day and workout for very few calories.Flavor reviews:Caramel latte: 4.5/5. Tried the Caramel Latte and it was excellent, though perhaps a little lacking in "coffee" flavor. Might try mixing it with a little cold brew in the future.Note, you CANNOT mix the Cafe series with water--it's atrocious and undrinkable. I do half water and half soymilk though, and it is GREAT. Some sort of milk is a MUST.Half-and-Half: 2/5. I also tried the half-and-half--the name is vague, but a little research will reveal it's half-tea, half-lemonade (an Arnold Palmer),... which also happens to be my favorite drink of all time! As such, this one was a huge disappointment. The "lemonade" doesn't have the tartness of real lemonade at all; just that chalky, weak artificial lemonade taste you might get from cheap lemon candy. The artificial sweetner is working overtime in this one. I've tried adding some lemon juice in this one, but it doesn't help much. I'll finish the canister because I paid for it and it mixes with just water (unlike the latte, so I can have it when there isn't milk available), but I won't be ordering it again.

Too sweet
Carmel has good flavor is EXTREMELY too sweet. I can barely use one scoop in an 8oz serving of dark coffee. Unfortunately one scoop doesn’t give me the ump I need to train fasted at 5am. I may try another flavor really wish I could send it back, because my pallet just can’t handle the sweetness.

yep it's delicious
This stuff tastes just like a McDonalds Frappe', except without the whipped cream on top. I only drink it with half the recommended water in it, only because I don't think it needs to be diluted. I also don't have the itchy tingly moments in the car on the way to the gym, like other products that contain niacin. Some people like that though. ?It definitely gives me energy, makes me want to work out. Gets me pumped.

Taste is great!
Although I have a local place I normally buy my Amino Energy from, I decided to try this flavor on Amazon that the local place did NOT have. Let me tell you, the flavor is great! Once I am finished with this, I am going to try the Mocha Cappuccino! Kick the coffee and soda, start buying these! They have so many flavors!
