Valeo VRL6 6" Padded Leather Contoured Weightlifting Lifting Belt with Suede Lining

I bought this belt to help my squats and dead lifts and to allow me to focus on now letting my back arch. The Belt itself is great. Its the quality of an $80 belt for a fraction of the price. The padding is just soft enough to where there is no discomfort when cinching tightly. The material is a leather like material but it is thick! It feels durable.As for effectiveness I added 30+ lbs to my dead lift instantly after switching from the belt at the gym (either a light leather one or a Velcro one, both suck compared to this). It makes a world of a difference and I feel like I can focus my strength where needed. Its really easy to size and the wholes are close enough to where you can get it just right (maybe 1/2 inch).I am a 33 inch waste and im at one of the 3 tightest holes on the medium size belt. Under a 33 I would be careful getting a medium and maybe look at a small but there is probably room to go up to a high 30s in waist size within the medium.Click YES if this review was helpful. Seriously, this is a terrible weight belt. I have been lifting since I was 15, and I used to be into powerlifting. Over the years I slid off track but now I am finally hitting the gym again. I lost my old harbinger leather belt from my powerlifting days and decided to buy this Valeo.I just used it tonight for deadlifts. This thing is ABSOLUTE JUNK. It's paper thin and feels like it is made of cardboard. DO NOT waste your money on it. Spend a little more for something better. Trust me. Get a good leather belt, this isn't it. Your back will hate you if you try any heavy lifts.I just got back from the gym and I have already put in my Amazon return request and have purchased a slightly more expensive leather belt in hopes that one will fulfill my needs.

I just received this lifting belt...checked it out and it seemed OK. I picked this one specifically because in the pic, there is a piece of leather that protects my shirts from being "pinched" at the buckle area. The belt arrived wrapped in plastic. Unfortunately, after further examination, the 4 metal rivets on the inside of the belt were corroded. The corrosion was "bleeding" onto the leather surrounding the rivets. If I used this belt, the corrosion will rub onto my shirt. I wish I could submit a pic of the corrosion because its pretty bad. I plan to return this item.

I bought this belt to replace one that I have been using for 25 years. The padding on the old one on the back side was torn and I used tape to covered it. This new one has good stiff leather, but the 2 belt loop were thinner than the old one belt. I will see if they hold up. NOTE: I could have bought other cheaper belt with other material and velcro, but a strong leather belt with belt buckle will give me better support..

DO YOU EVEN LIFT? I HOPE SO BECAUSE YOU WOULDN'T PURCHASE THIS IF YOU DIDN'T!I've beaten the ever living poop out of this belt by wearing it on two leg days a week, as well as several other days where I need to have appropriate back support to do certain lifts, and it was lasted me a modest amount of time and only up until now has it started to show tear, So this is after 6 months of abusing it like... Well I won't continue the metaphor but hopefully you understand the severity of abuse that has occurred to this belt.

I love these belts. Everyone in the gym has some super expensive, custom, Bluetooth ready, iron clad belts. Meh. That’s not for me. This company has been around they make a quality product. I’ve been working out for 15 years and love their belts. I do recommend the 6inch for those with a thicker torso. I have a 34 inch waist and the 4 inch digs into me when I squat. Other than that great belt for your money.

The local sports store only had "Large" and "Extra Large" belts (exact same belt as this one). I have a 31" waiste and the "L" fit me on the next to last notch (next to tightest position). In order to have more flexibilty I decided to order a "Meduim" so it would fit me somewhere in the middle of the range. When I recieved the "M", it fit me on the LAST notch (tightest position)! How is the "M" of the EXACT SAME BELT (make, model, and type) bigger than the "L"? I would say make sure you buy smaller but this seems to simply be inconsistent, not small sizing. I would not recommend buyiing this.

I like the simplicity of this belt. Its leather inside with a composite outer. The buckle is simple and easy to use. It also sports a leather guard of sorts to protect the user from getting pinched from the buckle. I use this belt daily for my power lifts and it supports my back very well. I have been lifting for 15 years and worn my fair share of belts. This one is great!

Por el precio (12,99 eur) esta muy bien, y cumple de sobra con su función.Cuero auténtico, de grosor mas que adecuado.Pero parece de algo menos calidad que otros cinturones "clasicos", tengo uno que llevo usando mas de 30 años, y aun sigue siendo solido y el cuero esta mas chulo cada día, pero no se si este (por construcción, calidad del cuero etc) llegara a tanto... quizás me equivoque...Pero de nuevo, por este precio, producto mas que recomendable.

The product is really good, and the delivery arrived one day earlier then sheduled, the only thing i wasnt happy was for the environnement, it came in such a big box for the item it was ridiculous. when i received a bench online last time the boxe was almost as big as the one carrying this belt. Way too much big of a boxe and way too much paper padding inside. I'm going to recycle but please dear Valeo! think a bit more green plz. and i bet smaller boxes are cheaper too.
