Bag is supposed to be wet
For those saying they got a used filter, the filters come in a sealed bag that has water in it because the filter must always remain wet. Our first filter lasted a little less than 2 years, refilling the Alexapure about one time per day. Great value.

No help
No help at all! They sent me a filter that had almost zero moisture in it so when I installed it it did not work, water doesn't filter thru. Contacted Amazon two weeks ago, the agent said for me to message the company directly which I did and still haven't heard back. Amazon never followed up either which she said she would. Complete BS and waste of time and money. Beware of buying from third parties thru Amazon…

This was a replacement buy, didn't realize they'd be so expensive but alas they are but they cost about as less as I'd buy for years worth of water.The flow rate is ok slowly filtering out water in about 30 to and hour-is. Don't expect water to quickly filter its a slow process to ensure quality water.For first timers and for those neurodivergent who can tell taste differences, the water may taste off st first but after some time the taste no longer bothers. If anything just add some flavoring AFTER the water is filtered AND poured into a cup.Overall it was easy to install and fit my container model just fine, I have the model in which I can have 2 filters of this size in at the same time.
