What is the thickness of each tile?

They are hard tiles , like a typical floor tile. Maybe 1/4-1/3 in thick. I thought they were play tiles, but they are not at all. They are nearly not able to be manipulated. They are decorative, but not for children to play with . I returned them. Not the soft play tiles I expected .

Will you get the same effect if mounted on wall? Or will gravity cause settling?

Are these like tiles you use in place of current flooring or do the have non slip backing so you can have them on top of a current floor?
