Adam's Custom Lures ATAK Series 1.25 - Square Bill Crankbait

This lure and color is great for river smallmouth. Especially when they are focused on crawfish. In clear or stained water. They do break easily if you crash them on a rock or structure. Like a bridge piling etc. The treble hooks are VERY SHARP, which is a good thing. The bill will then to break off if caught on bottom structure or if it hits something hard. Due to the length of the lure the trebled tend to hang up on themselves on occasion. Front one will catch the bill at times. Front treble likes to snag on the leader. Info only - I WOULD NOT CHANGE THE DESIGN OR MATERIALS. Just bring a couple of spares with you. They flat out work. They imitate a fleeing crawfish much like the old Wiggle Wart.

Just got them in the mail today (Dirty Shiner and the blacked out one) took them took the local pond and used dirty shiner caught 4 bass off of it in about 10 minutes. It also has great swimming action. Will definitely order more in dirty shiner and try out more colors. Great product!

Will be purchasing more. The quality is incredible. They run awesome in the water. They still smelled like fresh paint when I opened the packages! Very unique size!

These lures and this company are phenomenal! While I may be a field staff member, I originally saw product in action in a video and had to get one to try for myself, and the fishing has been so much fun when I can get out to fish. The bass just demolish these lures! You will not regret trying out Adam's Custom Lures!
