Q: What’s is the fabric made of ?

Made of nylon. Very comfortable but runs VERY large. I normally wear a S/M, but I had to exchange for a Petite Small - and it is still very roomy. Washes great.

Q: what are the lengths of the short and long gowns?

Short at or just below knee.Long at mid-calf.Depending on height of wearer.I would use 5'6" as the mark for those estimates.

Q: Can you guve me a length in inches for the short gown

About 37 inches long that’s a size medium an it come below my knee

Q: Does this have a zipper or button in front for nursing?

No. This is not a nursing gown. It has elastic in the back of the neck, but don't think it is low enough to stretch it for nursing. It's lovely and comfortable, though, for regular wear.
