Quick and delicious
I have no experience when Boba whatsoever. But I spend way too much money each week on this stuff because it is delicious.I can barely cook ramen noodles, so when I say this is incredibly easy to make you get the idea.I had a Macha green tea Boba smoothie in 15 minutes and I didn't even have to put pants on.

Just like the bubble tea store!!!
Excellent product! They cook very quickly so keep watching the time! Mine were done after 3 minutes covered of high heat. After the tapioca pearls cooked I immediately drained them and let them soak in cold water. After they cooled I put them in a simple sugar syrup: 1/2 cup white sugar, 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1 cup water cooked on Medium high heat all together until just simmering, and then cooled in the fridge.

YUMMY!!! And FAST!
I'm a recent convert to the boba tea movement, but with the cost and the need to drive quite a distance to get one, I decided to make my own. But when I checked out the black tapioca balls at my "local" (quite a distance from me) oriental store, the directions for making boba was pretty time consuming... over an hour total... and they don't keep well once cooked, it's cook 'em and use 'em, not cook 'em and store 'em, as they harden. So I decided to check Amazon, figuring that if I read all the reviews, someone might have an idea how to keep the boba for longer than a few hours. Instead, I found these, WuFuYuan Tapioca Pearls (Black). I made them yesterday for my first REAL homemade boba tea... and they are DELICIOUS! Not only are they tasty, it took me exactly 5.5 minutes, from start of cooking to mixing with honey. And 2 minutes later I was enjoying my own, homemade Strawberry-Banana boba tea! Now, I didn't cook the entire 8oz bag, instead I cooked one servings worth, or 1/3 cup, then resealed the bag. Tomorrow I'll be having another boba tea, and I'll just cook one serving again. This way, my boba is always edible, soft, and nothing goes to waste! Thanks WuFuYuan, I WILL BE BACK FOR MORE!!!

Microwave to Restore the Chew!
So I read a lot of review on these because I wanted to be able to make these at night for the next day at work. I came across a review from Rungirlhb that suggested microwaving them to restore the chewiness. Got my package in the mail last night, it had some condensation in it like the other reviewers mentioned, no big deal. I cooked them for probably a little longer than the package (they are like pasta, just taste them and stop cooking when you like how they are). Cooled them in ice water and plonked them into a brown sugar and water solution. Drank a tea straight away (of course) and put the rest in the fridge in the syrup overnight. This morning I tried one - yuck, chalky and not good. So I put the whole bowl (syrup + bobas) in the microwave for 1 min. It grows so watch it, had to stop mine a couple times and stir. Took them out and voila! chewy bobas again. I'm enjoying them as I write this review. The microwave trick makes them a bit less "ball" and more "blob" but hey, not having to boil bobas in the morning is worth it for me.

Moisture inside the product
I was expecting this item to be dry. I was so excited when it came last night but got disappointed and worried when I opened the box. There’s a lot of moisture inside the bag and I am afraid that1) it may not last long or it’s shelf life2) that there might be mold due to the moisture inside the packet3) that it is not safe to consume

Hooked on Bubble Tea
Got hooked on bubble tea and wanted to try and make it at home. This product is excellent. I find cooking it between 2-3 minutes, exactly 2 1/2 makes these perfectly soft and chewy. Only cook what you need for that day. These get hard after that. That's probably true for any tapioca pearls.

Perfect!!! Excited!!!
If you love boba tea, GET THESE!!! They are inch for inch the perfect thing. The bag is stuffed full of them. Like to the tippy top. I had to snip a corner to let air set them down. The instructions say to boil for 2 mins and simmer the rest of 3min. I boiled for 4 mins straight on high and let them "sit" in the water off the heat (while in the hot water) for a few mins. I prefer mine super soft so when I added some sugar and a few of them for a taste test. PERFECT. I may never go out and buy a made drink again! And in case anyones curious, 1 cup of them needs 10 cups of water. So i only made 1/2 cup : 5cup water ratio. Which was WAY more than enough for a few drinks. They grow like Orbeez lol

Easy to cook and very chewy!
These are easy to cook and very tasty. They are well in date. It has the expiration date at the back and useful instructions to cook the pearls. I didn’t follow these instructions and still ended up with the same great results. One 250g pack can make about a bowl full of pearls. It’s about 1 3/4 cups of pearl in 250g.I cooked 1 cup to 7-8 cups of water. When the water was at a rolling boil, I added the one cup of pearls. I stirred and waited until they floated. I covered the pot and turned the heat down to medium. I simmered the pearls for 5-10 mins, sometimes stirring in between. I turned the heat off after 10mins and let it sit covered in the pot for another 2-5mins. Drain the pearls and rinse with cold water until it’s room temp. I left them in cold water for 10mins until I was happy with the chewiness/texture of the pearls. Serve it with honey or brown sugar syrup and add it to your favourite flavoured tea/drink.

I liked it kind of
Ok, so I’m calling these boba because I forget their official name but here’s my review. con’s they smell weird when you cook them.OmgThat is the only con I could think of. They smelled weird BUT had little to no taste (hence why I said 5 stars for flavour) the smell I think was more the cooking style I did so that’s probably my fault. Also it was so easy to cook, very simple and a nice addition to dessert. May I recommend you make mango float shake (google it) that’s what I did and they were delicious! I included a picture of my float shake because it’s weird to show you packaging of boba because they already show you what it looks like. The boba is at the bottom so the pic is relevant.

Yummy Bubble Tea!
I bought these tapioca pearls so I could make my own bubble tea.Quality wise, these tapioca pearls are great and cook quickly (so be careful not to overcook).Instructions on the back of the packaging were simple and clear. You may notice some moisture in the packaging and if you've never used tapioca pearls, may notice the weird almost 'mouldy' look of the pearls - this is normal. They are coated in starch to keep them separate and with a little moisture, this give it a weird white cracked look. One star lost for price -it's a little expensive given the quantity of the pearls - I estimate you could make about 5 bubble teas with a nice amount of pearls.

schnell zubereitete, leckere Tapioka 😋

Easy to cook, good quality but flavourless
These are simple to make - essentially involves boiling the tapioca until all the balls come to the top. A little bit of simmering with the lid on the pan and then they are done. I would say it takes about ten minutes to make than the advertised 5 minutes.I would also point out that these have no flavour so it is advised to add a little sugar or honey on them when fully cooked, according to the packet.I used about half the packet when I made them which was just enough for a couple of bubble tea drinks. Of course that will vary depending on how much you use. Only suggestions for improvement would be a larger pack size for better value and perhaps more flavour.Overall, still happy with the purchase and would recommend.
