HiveTech USB Power Strip Home and Office Surge Protector 4 Outlet with 4 USB Smart Charger (Black)

It's my first time buying a power strip with USB plugs. I was looking for one with enough AC plugs and enough USB charging ports. This product came across to me.Pros:1. One of most AC & USB plugs on the market with reasonable price. No need to steal power from my laptop's USB port anymore.2. USB ports on the side is a very convenient design, much better than on the top. No need to worry about bending my Lightning connector and break3. Not like many other power strip, this one feels very solid and firm.Cons:1. I would like it more if they have a white one.

I had this unit for about a month. The first time I used two of the four outlets, I heard a click/pop. The whole unit was dead. None of the four outlets worked, and none of the USB ports worked. Buyer beware...

I really liked this while it worked, but two months in and the USB ports stopped charging my iPhone giving me an error message. Bummer as that was the primary reason that I bought a power strip and the only reason I bought one with a USB port. At first, I thought maybe my cord was worn, but I was able to charge just fine in the car and when I plugged the phone into my computer using the same cord. Also, every single port gives me the same error message.

The USB charging ports only work efficiently if the other plug-in sockets are off. Couldn't use both at the same time. Impractical!

I really like this power strip. We typically have more USB devices than non-USB and their powerblocks can take up too much room (often obscuring other sockets). This is does the trick - just plug in the USB cables and leave them attached - ready to plug in phones and tables. I cannot verify the power statements, but I did plug in a kindle, Galaxy S4 and iPhone at once and all charged (although I did this overnight and did not track how fast they charged). I purchased this myself - I did not receive any discount from the seller.

Use this in my camper, so u don't have to have a bunch of chargers, just keep some cords in the camper. Works on old phones and my new LG G5.

This product is awesome! exactly what I have look for! although it is a little bigger than I thought, but it has six outlets that can provide power to devices, and it has USB charging ports also! so convenient! Overall a Great Product!

Initially once received, it worked amazingly, then after about three weeks use, all ports including sockets stopped working. Am sending back to Amazon.
