Greetings, is this designed to allow quick color changes if you have multiple paint jars?

Yes it works really well just pop one off an push it on another one. you just have to spray a little out on to a rag or something till the correct color of paint comes out i usually have one with cleaner in it and hook it to that in between changes so my colors dont get mixed up. But the sprayer really works good.

Yes. A small compressor will do the job since your not really pumping a lot of air/paint through this airbrush.
