Victorinox Fibrox Pro Chef's Knife, 8-Inch Chef's,Black

I’m not a professional chef, or really even a cook. But using this knife makes slicing and cutting fun. It’s really sharp and easy to handle, feels like quality in your hands, and is very easy to keep clean. I’ve never had a knife outside of a knife block set and this one is by far the best knife owned.

Very SHARP! These knives are more on the commercial style knife. The fibrox handles l resemble black nylon. No worries about bacterial growth in crevices. I have several of these knives in different styles. Highly recommended for someone who wants to cut their food instead of sawing through it.

This is a great starter knife for anyone getting into cooking! Extremely sharp out of the box, light and easy to use. Handle feels great in the hand. Much cheaper to purchase one of these and figure out what you do or don’t like and make future knife purchases based on that.I’ve used it on meat, veggies, etc and it works effortlessly. I recommend buying a sheath to protect it wherever you store it in your kitchen.

great sharp knife, reasonable price for the quality. comfortable handle, superb steel. edge retention isn't great but it's very easy to maintain. just wash and strop after each use.w

I know sharp knives, I sharpen them. This is n like a razor, get the protector before you hurt yourself or family

I really like this knife and use it every day. The only complaint I have is that it is "soulless". The handle makes it feel cheap, and detracts from its value/quality "feel". This is a small complaint, and I would buy it again.... but they could do a little better.
