Bought this backup battery for my Cateye Volt 1600. I love to night ride, and I do it on road and on mountain bike trails. This is a "just in case" battery. Honestly, I have never had my Volt 1600 run out of juice, but if it does, I have a great backup on hand. I believe Cateye is the only light company that allows you to swap out batteries like this, and I just love it. I have the Cateye Volt 300, Volt 800 and Volt 1600. I have backup batteries and the optional charger for all of them. Got to love it. Pure quality! Knowing you can swap out batteries, should you need, is awesome and a super night riding benefit! I wish all light companies had swap-able batteries.
