Upon initial observation I could tell this head was durable it is coated with a powder coat type spray that adds extra protection. Also this head sounds great and really adds a punch to your bass drum.

Only get this head if u want a quieter drum. Really lifeless. But hey, it that's what you're going for...

Every bit as good as the EMAD only this plastic ring seems way tougher. The problem with the EMAD is that the ring always cracks. I feel like at first inspection...this one is going to last way longer. Soundwise....same exact thing. It kind of sucks that they dont give you two different sized rings like Evans does....but I got one for a 24 inch bass drum and I would choose the fatter ring anyway. Love it so far.

Sino ad oggi avrei solo parlato bene di questa pelle. L'ho montata su una Ludwig Super Classic del 64. bel suono tondo, ricco, profondo e un po' stoppato, naturale, esattamente quello che cercavo. Purtroppo però dopo meno di due mesi si è sfondata, e non credo di essere chissà che picchiatore. Premetto che non ho messo il falam che viene dato con la pelle. SI probabilmente avrebbe protetto maggiormente, ma il falam, modifica notevlmente il suono, rendendolo plasticoso, troppo attacco, direi non adatto per una batteria e suono vintage.
