So far I love the sight and it seems to be a great RDS which I wanted for hunting season for hogs and for under 350$ it’s a good deal. I went to my local gunsmith and looked at their stuff and asked for suggestions and this is what I ended up buying and it seems to hold zero pretty well. It took 2 adjustments to get it in the center of the paper and holding a decent group. It is as wide as my pistol so it looks as it should on my 10mm. The glass is super clear on it and even with astigmatism I found it easy to acquisition to the RDS because on my S&W M&P 2.0 I can co-witness the iron sights for 2 different ranges. I love the auto brightness but that’s just me, I seen some complain about it but I actually found it to be the right brightness for me like that vs always hunting for the “right” brightness for the ambient light. I actually used it inside and outside my home and it works well in artificial light for me but better in real sunlight of course. All in all I would buy from the seller that I did and found the sight to be in new condition even though the box was not sealed in plastic. Also the screws were in the same type of bag that the one guy is complaining about and saying it’s not factory when it obviously is (at some point the changed the bags they use). 5/5 stars for sure! Won’t be my last Holosun!

Great tool. Have ordered multiple after using the first one. Like the solar charger as well as it coming on when you draw or move the firearm. Have it on 2 sig p320 x5 legion and will be adding to a new echelon. Did not need a plate or adapter to install on the sign, so that was a definite plus. We like the green version and that there are multiple options on the reticle/dot configuration.

I remember when rds cost a month's paycheck. Bought this thinking it might be cheap. I think it's pretty good quality and has great features. I have two critiquesOne is the drain ports. If this is holstered on the hip as open/ duty carry, and if it rains, it will retain a small amount of water on the sight glass until its drawn. I just think the drains need moved.Two is the auto setting light sensor is on top. The auto setting is really great and reacts fast, it's excellent for bright daylight to low light conditions. It absolutely must be default when carrying. However if you have a pistol mounted flashlight and use the flashlight in the dark, the light sensor on the sight will not sense the light and will not brighten the reticle, making it impossible to see the reticle in very dark conditions. My remedy is to simply move my thumb up from my grip and press the plus button for 3 seconds changing from auto mode to manual mode. It reverts to the same brightness level it was previously set on.I'm very happy with it and have it zeroed at 100 yards on a .40 cal glock and consistently hit 8 inch steel. It came pre zeroed at 25 yards making it easy to get on paper with the first shot and adjust.

The holosun 507c is fantastic... I mounted it to my 2011 using a trijicon mounting plate (this optic fits RMR footprint)Install was as simple of tightening two screws. Zeroing was the easiest of any pistol optic i have ever used and was even pretty close out of the box (it even said it would be close in the manual).The optic has a setting for every situation you could ever need, it has the circle, dot, and circle with dot. The circle i have used much but John from ASP swears by it. The dot is fantastic for longer range shots and i was even able to us this for very repeatable 100yard shots. The circle dot is PERFECT for everything inside 50y yards, and aids in finding the dot fast.More impressive is the durability of this tank of a red dot. I have an RMR, and I'm almost convinced the RMR eould break before this holosun. The aluminum is thicker than a snicker.The glass is pretty clear and it's a decent shape for cleaning powder off of after a range session.The shake awake function is flawless, the auto time off can be changed to different times, and the brightness settings work for every situation.I don't personally use the auto brightness, but it does work well.This optic is a far better than it's price suggests, it's an RMR killer for sure...

best sight on the market

I have carried this red dot with me on my G19 for well over a year now and it has held Zero very well. It has been dropped mutable times and keeps going. Great price for a RMR red dot. The glass is clear enugh to hit steel at 75 yards. The automatic shake awake works well never had to switch batteries! I recommend!
