Just received and my initial reaction is that it’s amazing! I love the weight it lays out very flat for a cork mat it’s soft and yet very grippy beautiful black pigment used in the dye for the design. It’s a lovely yoga mat. I have high hopes for the durability, but as I have only used a few times, we are yet to see.

I bought this mat last year, probably like 4-5 months ago and I was really waiting for write my review because I sweat a lot and I practice daily and sometimes even twice a day including hot yoga so I just wanted to make sure this mat could last and work for this heavy practice... let me tell you it didn’t disappoint! The grip is amazing! Not only while doing hot yoga but my hands sweat a lot and this mat hold my body perfectly! Also, the design is super cute and it’s very comfy since I didn’t get the thicker one. It’s very light compared to my old cork mat so yes! I’m very happy with it!

I initially bought the cork mat because I liked its look, that it was eco-friendly and that it would be good for warm or hot yoga workouts.Besides using it for yoga, I starting using it for my body-weight work outs and stretching, I love it. It's sturdy, I don't slip, and I don't need a towel to put over the mat when I start sweating. This is great mat for Yoga and for all my other workouts.

The mat is definitely a travel mat. Very thin. It does have great grip as i take a lot of hot yoga classes over 100 degrees with super high humidity. Dry the mat as it can hold smell

I use this mat 5+ days a week in my hot yoga class. Before this mat I had a sweat towel and it was always moving and bunching up in class. I absolutely love the design and the feel of this mat. It absorbs my sweat extremely well and the design is super cute. Keeps me centered during flows. My only complaint was the same as others indicated. The smell is very strong at first. I just let it air out in my garage for a couple of days and the smell went away. Highly recommend

The name "Cork mat" and the product's description online led me to believe I was buying a mat with an upper layer made of cork. However, as you can see from the label of the product received, it isn't made of cork, but recycled plastic!!! There was no unpleasant smell. The 3.5mm version is really hard.

I like the style and the material but it's very very thin.

I bought the 5.5mm- and it's lovely and amazing to work with. only downside my other one was longer and I didn't realize this was going to be shorter. Not a huge draw back, just used it and loved it so much, so comfortable. I'm going to look forward to using this everyday!!
