Not Bright Enough for Outdoor Use!
I was really looking forward to this. It tuned well to my different video transmitters, the diversity worked great, the picture was good, and it is a piece of cake to use. There is one horrible problem: The monitor is not nearly bright enough to be used outside on anything but an overcast day. I adjusted the brightness, contrast, and color to their extent with different combinations but in the end, this monitor proved unusable. It's a real shame as it really seems like a nice product other than this deal-breaking problem.Edit: I feel my review is completely honest and, being very experienced with these sorts of items and their use, completely accurate. The vendor (ThorFire & More) has been repeatedly asking me to remove this review because I was refunded. Below is my response."I reviewed the product...not the service. While the service was exemplary, the product was not. The fact that I was able to return the product for a refund quickly and easily is irrelevant to the quality and performance of the product. The product is still inferior and cannot be used for its intended use (outdoors in sunlight)."

the display is nice, can see pretty good using a gopro
this paired with the same brand ts832 600mw tx is getting a range of 150-200m with the stock whips. it does go to static and then blacks out when you step out of range! the display is nice, can see pretty good using a gopro. one of the side panels pops off too easily, have to clip it back every few uses! I like that the battery, tx, and monitor are all together with no wires! I just charged it, linked channels, removed protective film and threw it on a tripod.

Basically Dead On Arrival
The Cons-The unit that I received would not take/hold a charge. After plugging it in and thinking it was charging for the first few hours, I took it outside and got about 5 minutes of FPV video with my multicopter.-The video was very soft and did not have a lot of definition/contract.- The side panels were very flimsy and hard to keep out / open. You may have to use some tape to keep them secure.- When it's on a tripod, it's hard to get your finger under the tab to open the barn doors since the tab is right next to the tripod hole, and the tab extends past the bottom of the unit. The Pros- The receiver worked nicely and had a clear feed from 100+ yards away (baseball diamond, no obstructions).- It was very easy for the video receiver to find the channel from my transmitterI've returned the product and will be searching for a different solution.

I'm very happy with this monitor
I'm very happy with this monitor! I have only used it so far with the Spektrum VA1100 FPV camera/transmitter but it is extremely responsive, clear, and the dual band receiver keeps the image on screen, even at long range. There's plenty of picture adjustability, and the battery lasts a decent amount of time. I have not had the opportunity to use any of the outputs to DVR devices, but for your average hobbyist, this should work nicely for all FPV systems.

Great product with one minor flaw!
Product works great. I have bought this to receive video transmission from Eachine ET200 Camera Transmitter kit attached to my robot. Only complaint is that when I turn off the monitor and robot the next time I turn them on I have to switch channel output on transmitter in order for monitor to find good signal. Not sure whether this is a fault of the monitor or transmitter. Otherwise seems to be great product for the money. I use it mainly indoors where reception is acceptable outdoors the reception and picture are even better!

So I received it today and was pretty impressed with the packaging but mistakes were made
So I received it today and was pretty impressed with the packaging. I turned it on and the channel search was very fast. On my unit the volume was turned up very loud and it took me a few seconds to find the volume down controls. I am overall impressed with the unit. The only drawback I have found is the charging chord is very small seems like it will get worn out very quickly, The unit that arrived at my house the charger was already broken and would only charge if you held the cable in a certain position. The return process was super easy and I will receive my new screen in a couple of days. If the new one has charging issues I will update this post. I was also having issues with the sides of the sun screen not staying in place. The plastic tabs the are there to hold the sides from folding in are not big enough. It would work better if the top was spring loaded like the sides.

Functional, battery DOA. Perhaps better alternatives at price point
I like this monitor for FPV use. So far I haven't had the outdoors visibility problem that others have mentioned, but I've yet to use it on a very bright day. My biggest complaint is that I cannot charge the battery up. The green light will illuminate as though the battery is charged, but once unplugged the bars will drop rapidly. I doubt it will last more than a three minutes or so at this rate, so I use an external 12V battery pack. The only other comment I have is that there are other Diversity RX/Monitor units for roughly the same price that include built-in recording functionality. I would go that route were I to buy one again.

Be careful not to accidentally power up the monitor when you close the sunshade,
Pros: Great picture and receivers, Sunshade built in, video in/out, built in speakers, multiple mounting options and has a crisp clear picture.Cons: The sunshade is not removable, also when closing the sunshade, the top clasp is located just above the power button, so you have to be careful not to turn it on accidentally when you are closing it and putting it away for the day, I've done this twice now and it sucks, when you go out thinking you have a fully charged video monitor only to get out there with a completely Dead battery because it was inadvertently left on all night. That's the only reason for the 4 stars in place of 5... if the sunshade was removable, I would have no problem ranking it 5 stars.
