LUXE Hair Thickening Fibers - CONFIDENCE IN A JAR – 2 Months+ Supply! – Hypoallergenic, Dermatologist Tested – Multiple Colors Available (Medium Blond)

For several years, I have been using 'hair powder' to cover the thinning areas of my scalp. I have tried a number of them, including Toppik, which is the number one selling hair fibers. Although Toppik is a good product, it has become very expensive and because of this, I have tried alternatives with varying success. LUXE hair fibers, however, does an even better job of covering the thinning areas than Toppik and for far less. The only drawback is that the holes on the bottle are large and you may get more powder than you need ... and on you. To get around this, I place a towel around my neck to collect excess fibers and have a damp cloth at hand to wipe any off. This is something I do with all the products, however, so this is not just an issue with LUXE. Having said that, the coverage is amazing and at half the price. I will not be buying any brand from here on out, unless they are out of stock. Also, if this is your first experience using hair fibers, opt for a color one shade lighter than your own. The fibers are darker than you would expect and for a more natural look, a little lighter is better.

Got this product about a week ago. I have a female-pattern baldness at the top of my head that's getting worse and worse especially ever since I had my kid. When I first tried it on my head, I thought it did make my hair look a little fuller, but looking in the mirror I thought all it did was cover the balding spots with dust that's the same color as your hair. This morning I decided to take a selfie of my head - before and after. My discovery is two-fold: first of all, I didn't know how bad my balding was looking from the top. It looked even worse from what I was seeing in the mirror which was horrifying. Second of all, this product amazingly makes it look like I have more hair!!! I honestly thought the other people who posted their pictures were scams - I thought they were before and after pics of hair transplant, and boy was I wrong.... My pics here are taken literally today. The first two are taken 1-2 minutes apart, before and after applying the product this morning. The last pic was taken literally right before I started writing this review sitting in my office. If I can give 10 stars, I would. I think this little bottle will last me 2-3 months but I'm going to stock up on it just in case. This is a life changer and greatly increases my comfort level :)

I have finished 4th jar and I am going to order 5th. So I definitely like it. I have also used other expensive products. Here are the pros and cons.- It is cheaper than most of the products in the market and quality is good.- Luxe’s fibers are thicker than other products and so if you need to apply a lot, it doesn’t look natural. Some of the expensive ones have much finer fibers and give more natural look even you apply a lot.- The cover mesh sizes are large so it drops a lot more than other products. You may feel waste when you really do not need much to cover. Wish they could come up with finer mesh cover.- Any moisture (sweat or snow) is terribly bad for this product. It immediately forms lumps which could be noticeable.In summary, it is a good product for cheaper range and works okay. If you pay more, there are better products available.

I received my bottle yesterday and tried this stuff this morning. I wasn't sure how much to use, so I used it sparingly. I'm pleasantly surprised so far! I will give it another shot tomorrow but these fibers are great. However, I thought hairspray would adhere the fibers to my hair but scratched my head and a bunch of the fibers were on my finger. So maybe I will need to use a different hairspray next time. Regardless, I'm happy with results so far as a first timer using this type of product. I'm attaching two pics... Before and after. I needed a refill and could not believe how Toppik's prices have gone up, then noticed this and the rave reviews, so for the same price I got about three times as much and with Amazon's return policy I wasn't worried. The color is richer and it stays where I put it, although I always finish styling with hairspray anyway, and I found that this also sprays better than Toppik and has better coverage. I got the screen off easily with a nail file so I could fill my Toppik bottle with the Luxe, as the Toppik spray applicator will not fit on the Luxe bottle. Overall I was happily surprised as I assumed I would probably have to return it, and instead I have found a great replacement for Toppik.

If you dont have time to read this, the take away is that you are better off sticking with quality products like Xfusion or Toppik.---I have been using thickening fibers daily for the last two years, and have had very good results. Xfusion was my go to, but last month the price doubled, so I thought I would try another product that landed in the same price range that I originally found Xfusion. Unfortunately the value found in Xfusion (or Toppik for that matter) is not mirrored with Luxe. While the former both feel like light velvety powders, Luxe feels like a bottle of dirt. no exaggeration. The holes in the lid are way too large for the powder inside. I had a used Xfusion bottle laying around so I poured the Luxe into that hoping that the diameter of the holes in the Xfusion lid would help break down the dirt clumps that drop from the Luxe bottle. (Sidenote: if anyone has a Luxe bottle, and a digital scale, I would like to know how much it weighs. Its thick and heavy for its size which leads me to believe that there might actually be less product than advertised.) Unfortunately even the finer lid pattern didnt help. I have never used a product that so readily left the top of my head before a sealing dose of hair spray. After 2-3 coats of hairspray that this fiber requires, my hair was hard as a rock and the color completely unnatural. I just ordered a bottle of Xfusion that is now twice the price, but I know its a good product. This bottle of dirt will be returned. Buy it nice or buy it twice is a rule I usually hold myself to, and whenever I ignore it, I am always reminded why its such a solid rule.

Really covers thinning hair I have honey blonde hair and the blonde matches very well easy to use just shake when hair is done give me back my confidence

This product has made such a difference to my hair cant even see at the front of my hair how fine it is, i shall be ordering again soon. Ladys if your hair is fine buy this, thank you luxe x

This stuff isn't worth buying. Don't waste your money. It is like tiny pieces of sawdust that fall straight off. If you spray them with hair spray you end up with a soggy clump of goo. Totally useless!

Amazing stuff. Easy application. Looks natural. Blends in perfectly with existing hair. Doesn't come out.10/10
