Love this thing! I just got a Yamaha upright and now $21 later my kids fingers are safe! There are no instructions with it but you'll figure it out. It just sticks on. I didn't use the gray metal strip that came with it.

It's so tight, it really doesn't allow the piano lid to close completely. But I guess it's better than nothing for my 2 year old fingers. It also doesn't come with any instruction to put it on the piano. I had to look online to find pictures to figure it out.

I have been using it for the past 6 months. Excellent quality, saved my toddler's finger a couple times. Now I can leave the piano open without worrying.

This item is bulky and far from ultra slim. We couldn't close the door so you can imagine how large it actually is

returning 2nd one I've tried. Way too tight - piano fallboard doesn't descend at all. Tried lubricating it but still not working. Good idea. Wished it worked.

Perfect solution to stop my toddlers fingers from ever getting smashed by the fall board. Very strong and reliable. Great price!
