Finally found the perfect beach hoodie for me
Finally found the perfect beach hoodie for me. I live near the beach and get stuck waiting for my out of town visitors to finish their day at the beach, and since they're from up north they do mean a day, yep a full day. Anyway, after I've been sun cooked and wave beaten and I'm ready to go home - but no, I'm stuck playing the good host ( They're worth it though). This wool blend is awesome, kept the sun off me but allowed me to enjoy the breeze and the hoodie kept the sun off my face while we walked miles looking for shells. Wow re-reading this I sound like a commercial, but what you didn't know was how long I was looking for this - yeah there are similar hoodies, cotton -no thanks -(many reason but off topic) rayon again no thanks- too clingy so a light wool blend. I took a $ 70 chance on this and I'm a tight wad. It's hard to see in the picture but I really like the thought that went into this from the finger loop to the reinforced hoodie edge/trim what ever it's called.

I backpack and hike and this is a wonderful intermediate layer. I like the hoodie part. I bought it a size larger (an XL instead of a large) and it fits my 6'1" frame well.

LOVE THIS BASELAYER
LOVE THIS BASELAYER! Silky smooth merino wool performs in all types of conditions. Mine has since gotten a few holes after constant use, but my girlfriend now gets to wear it as her "comfy boyfriend hoody". Win-win!
