These are brilliant refillable pencils. I use them for all my work and home projects as they are easier to keep and use than a conventional pencil. The metal shaft allows them to stay in my toolbox without getting broken, and their pen-like clip allows them to hang on my pocket when working. Just a couple of clips on the button, and the lead extends. This is also easy to replace with the refill kit.

Just what I needed

Onto my second pencil after loosing my first which was near 2 years old. Parcel arrived late which wasn’t great but everything else was sound. I use the coloured leads which are unbranded with no issues. Great wee pencil and the holder/sharpener.

Superb, pretty much sums this up. For me this is without a doubt the best pencil I’ve used. Feels really good quality, comes with its own holster, which clips onto a tool pouch or pocket so to don’t need to sit it down anywhere. Comes with plenty of spare leads and even has its own built in sharpener (on the holster). The only issue I’ve had so far is, if you sharpen the lead and have it too far extended, even a small way, it can break when putting it back into the holster. This has happened to me a few times, which march resharpening again. Slightly annoying but everything else about this product more than makes up for it. Will likely buy another when the price is right.

Boy, how I used to get frustrated with using the traditional carpenters pencils - difficult to sharpen, leads always breaking - and forever losing them! Then I found out about these Tracer markers and have never looked back. As regards the design, the makers haven’t missed a trick. In the box you get the pencil itself, with a lead inside and a holster to keep it safely secured - oh, and the holster features a lead sharpener and a sturdy pocket clip that holds firmly in place in my cargo trousers when I withdraw the pencil as required.This marker really is great for marking walls where you are attaching timber, it’ll reach depths of 100mm in a 3mm hole with the extendable and retractable lead or 145mm in a 6mm hole at standard length. This Tracer marker is also excellent for marking different materials, in one of my photos I show where I’ve used it on wood, metal, plastic and paper. In the box you also receive a spare pack of 6x leads - these include 4x standard leads and 2x yellow leads for marking up dark materials. By the way, if you need to extend the lead out to its fullest length, it’s simply a case of pushing it back into the body afterwards. Whether you are a professional or an occasional DIYer, this is the marker you want to treat yourself too - I guarantee you won’t regret it! Five stars all the way for this product. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
