huge upgrade
I came from the Corsair AIO 280 which had been a great performer for a few years now. But as I started to notice irregular temp swings, I thought it's time might be up. So I took the plunge into custom loop, and Corsair made this really easy. I went with the hydro X series, soft tubes, still 280 setup, on a 12700K pushing 5K-P/3.9K-E all core hitting around low 70'sC peak, around 30-33C idle. Around 65C after hours of gaming. Fittings worked great, easier with soft tubes for sure (better for beginners). Really quiet, works super well. Also, will work with ICUE commander XT (pump goes on fan header 6, then pick from dropdown menu).

Easy to work with
This tube is very easy to work with. It bends well and doesn't kink badly. It looks good when filled.

A world of difference!
I thought the price for this amount of Vinyl tubing was Insane, I still do, Kind of.. So I bought a Bulk 50ft roll of some random brand on amazon for half the price.. after using it for a year I was met with tubing that turned to almost stone, discolored instantly and polluted the water loop with what I can only imagine is manufacturing residuesAfter that huge mess, I decided to try the much more expensive Corsair CX-9059001, and the difference in Quality and softness is unworldly.. what a superior product!Do not make the same mistakes I did, invest in Your loop, buy quality products like this one.- Blake

Yes, I could have bought cheaper tubing at Home Depot...
I wasn't happy about the price, I think $9.99 would have been a better price point. For my first water cooled loop, I wanted ease of use, and the tubing was super easy to work with. A couple of my runs actually look like hardline runs. We will see how it holds up in the coming months.yes, I have 3 360mm radiators for cooling my 5800x, I can't find a water block for my 6700xtI went soft line because:1) I have an o11 XL, my computer already looks like a million other computers out there.2) I don't like the look of distro blocks with hard line runs blocking everything3) Soft line has the best chance to not leak when it is your first loop build, less area for user error

Corsair CX-9059001-WW Hydro X Series
I give this a 3 star as this stuff yellowed very fast, with them claiming it doesn't. PC is in my office and not exposed to sunlight. It kinks pretty easily as well. Less so when under pressure, but still because it is soft it will kink easily at any bends of 90 degrees. Longer the run of tube more likely the bend due to weight obviously.I got the 10/13 so on the thinner side.If the tube is just laying around it has not yellowed. Soon as you add coolant and heat, it yellows right up (under 30 days using Corsair XL8 purple).
