When we first opened the leash there was a small section cut and frayed. After using it for a few weeks now it doesn’t seem to be getting any worse and was able to melt the nylon fraying to prevent it from getting worse. Overall great product that will function great even with slight damage. Very comfortable and easy to use. Gives the ability to use both hands fully while walking the dog.

It is very heavy duty. I have XL pitbulls and I don't have to worry about this breaking. Well worth the $25

I love this leash!!! This is not your normal leash. This leash is very strong and contains a heavy duty clasp. With a squeeze of the thumb this clasp makes it easy to allow you to attach or remove the leash from the dogs harness. In addition, the leash contains a pinch clip that can be used for carrying a poop bag dispenser. There is also another square loop that could be used to tether another leash in case you are walking two dog. In addition to being strong, the hand loop is padded and is very comfortable which makes it very easy to control my dog when he yanks on his leash.

Color is NOT what it appears to be, not in the stock photos nor even in my own photos. I don't know why the camera can't capture the real color of this "coral" collar and leash, but I assure you it is in fact hunter orange. I expected coral to be a dusty pink, with maybe a hint of orange hue. This is just hunter orange. I wanted an actual coral/dusty pink collar and leash for my white and pink dog.I saw another review that said the same thing, that it was more orange than coral. Well I thought it looked coral in their picture so I took a chance. Take my word for it and theirs, the pictures (even mine) are deceiving. It's just hunter orange.Still 4 stars though for carhartt collars and leashes in general. I have the wine and blue and teal, all with matching leashes. But I was excited to get something carhartt for her that was a pinkish color.
