Dads favorite present
My dad is obsessed with this thing. He owns his own construction co and never saw anything like this before. He spent the rest of Christmas day going around trying this thing out on anything he could find.

Doesn't work
I knew this item was plastic, but it is such a sticky plastic that the "teeth" do no float so you get a proper contour. Totally useless for its intended purpose. It's going back to Amazon.

Have curves, must have tool to make perfect cuts.
I have used several other contour gauges before, some where ok, but lacked tightness in keeping the pins in place, others just where complete waist of money. This Contour Gauge works really nice and seems to keep the pins still when moved. Accuracy seems to be right on mark. GREAT value for the price.

One was good. Another was Useless
My husband gave one of these to his son for Xmas, and really liked it, so he put it on his wishlist.The one I got him for his birthday was so badly made that it is useless. The "fingers" have so much excess flashing that they won't mesh together (random gaps between them), and they won't extend evenly.Trying to return it, but the Return Label says "Postage Required" - so I have to *pay* to send them back their useless item, so they can sell it to someone else?!?

Easy to use
We got this to help with renovating our bathroom. It is extremely easy to use to make sure measurements are correct and it helped make things extremely more efficient with cutting tiles. It is a real handy took to have around.

Not accurate. Pins don't correspond to trace
Does not function as described. Attempted on rounded edge. Had many jagged edges (not smooth). Then used on 90 degree corner. When transferred the angle was closer to 80. Would not use for trim or edging. Kids use it as trace toy with crayons now.

It’s ok but could be better.
This will do the trick in a pinch however some of the pins stick together and you need to push them into place by hand to get the best contour. Also it would be great to be able to lock them so they don’t move when trying to trace them.

Others are better to use.
More difficult to get good shape than similar item with metal spines. More difficult to get correct shape than what videos show.
