While the bulb fit the mounting socket, it was about 3/16" inch too long to fit completely within the headlight assembly preventing the dust cover from fitting. To remedy, I drilled out the center of the plastic dust covers and siliconed rubber dust cover extensions (available on amazon - 90mm size) to the original dust covers. A bit of finessing with the fit, but it worked. In the 2016 Elantra -- there are several obstacles from using only the rubber dust cover extensions - so I thought it was best to secure the rubber extension to the original cover. In this way, I know the seal is right and it's not going to fall out.As opposed to others who say it's OK to not reinstall the dust covers, I don't recommend this as there are small fans on these bulbs and it would only take a little dirt or water to get into these fans to stop them from adequately cooling the bulb. Hopefully the small area within the headlight assembly - combined with the bulb fan - is enough to keep these bulbs from burning out.The only thing I disliked about the bulb is that I had to use the alternative power lead connectors -- as the original power lead connector (from the car) made the underside of the bulb too big for a fit. Luckily someone was thinking ahead and included an alternate low profile connector. This only concern I had was the leads from this connector don't have a block -- only spade connectors that you plug into the original power connector. It's like not having a plug on your lamp -- just to spades to stick into your socket. It works fine, but I'd rather have seen a solid connector on those leads.Overall -- the LEDS are great and if you have original equipment bulbs in your ELANTRA (halogen) get rid of them and get LEDs.

I wanted to rate this product before I forget. I just installed it on my 2017 F150 with Anzo headlight system. I will edit the star rating at a later time after some usage but they fit nicely and seem to work fine. A little concerned about the heat it generates and the fan function longevity. The unit seems to get a little hot even with the fan working. Hope the cooling fan will work as it should. As to installation, I would give a negative rating for the design of F150 for making it so difficult to change a simple light bulb. The experience humble any mechanically inclined person.

The leds were delivered next day and were well packaged. Leds seem well made and sturdy. The install of these H7 bulbs was more or less a learning process on the first headlight with the second headlight being a quicker process, all in all not bad. The one thing that took some time was the directions show to slide collar off the bulb, not what needs to happen first. The coollar needs to be turned 180 degrees and then it comes off, that isn't shown in the directions. All the rest of install was straight forward by following the directions. Used the car tonight, what a difference in light output from these bulbs, the difference in color is amazing, next step is the high beam bulbs to match the low beams and to see how the last. I have no flickering at all. Will update later on how they last. Thank you car rover. Can't wait to see how well H13 work in my Mariner.

These are not bright enough to be a stand alone headlight. I bought them because my Passat seems to go through a lot of bulbs. I went back to the standard bulb.

I installed these on my BMW, and the difference is night and day. These bulbs are so much brighter than the stocks. The Light is clear and amazing. Very impressed with these bulbs.
