Most other tapes came in pairs for about the same price. This one included 8 tapes and 2 tire levers for one price which I liked a lot better. I have 3 bikes and I decided to replace rim tapes on all of them, although only one of them had issues with flats because of the spoke nuts poking into the tube. When I took the tubes out of the other bikes, I was glad I got this package since the rim tapes on my other bikes were also in bad shape. I was actually able to double up for one of them so now all my wheels have new rim tapes and I can put full pressure on the tires again.I got the 700c size and I was worried that it would be too small for my 700c wheel but it stretched nicely over the rim and into the slot. I had to maneuver the tape into place gradually since it was a tight fit. The valve hole elongated a little bit, leading to a tight fit of the valve but a little bit of wiggling the valve did the trick.One of my bikes is a 26" and the 700c size actually worked well for that too - it was not as tight of a fit but it stayed in place and will not move around easily. Besides the valve hole and the valve will keep it in place, so I am happy with how it worked out.The tire levers are not all that good quality but they were good bonus to keep in my emergency kit.

Bought these as wife's bike was ridden with a low tire then had a flat tire. Now the problem will be no more I hope. Great deal. Easy to put on. And they came with the tool for the tire removal from the wheel. It works good too. The bands are red but no sees them anyway. Got several for the price others want for two. I put two on over the one on the wheel already. No problem. Have spares now.

Sure, this rim tape looks kind of tacky - weird plastic in a gaudy red color. It definitely doesn't look classy like Ritchey or Schwalbe tape. However, it doesn't really matter since this goes on the inside of the rim and no one will ever see it. And it's way cheaper and it works fine. Just use it, you'll forget about it after your first ride.

Have to stretch a bit to install but worked well to cover spoke heads. Great price for quantity and with two levers.

At first, I was concerned they would not stretch over rim to install. No problem - they had just enough stretch. Much tougher, tear and puncture resistant than the rubber rim strips they replaced. Still early but no problems so far.

If you compare what I ordered vs what I received, you'll notice the nice neat rolls vs a bag containing a mess! They are hard to install because they are all wrinkled! Very disappointing! They do work as stated.

I purchased these based on all the positive reviews. You get what you pay for! I had spoke rivets bore right through the material on one wheel, and the material ripping open into the spoke cavity on another wheel. In all cases, tubes blew shortly after pumping up to normal pressure (80-100 lbs). I went through a half dozen tubes before I realized the problem was these cheap rim strips. We may be able to use them in lieu of floral tape, but certainly not in a bicycle.

The strip has just enough tension to fit firmly on the rim. It has enough stretch to make it easy to center. It is definitely thick enough and the connection at the valve hole is well done and durable.
