We've had this for a while now and the iPad its holding had survived MANY drops.We are using it with an original first gen iPad. It *does* fit, though it's clearly not made for it. The iPad is tight in there, and doesn't 100% line up, but it's close enough that it doesn't hinder it's use.Our kid discovered the little flap that covers the charging port and was messing with it constantly, so that ripped off fairly soon after purchase, but that's fine, the case isn't water proof in any way, so covering the port really only partially protected it from debris. Once it ripped off I took a razor blade to the foam at the port and actually made it a little bigger. The plug would work okay before, it was just hard to get in there, now it's much easier. I'll post a photo so you can see what I mean.Overall I'm really pleased with this case, the handle is great and doubles as a kickstand. And as I said before, many many drops, iPad is still going strong (knock on wood!).

My three year old son has been playing ABC Mouse on my iPad, so I decided to get this bumper cover to protect it. It doesn't come with a screen protector, which was the only con I found. However, it has done great at keeping the iPad from getting damaged. My son has dropped it a couple times while in this case and it's been completely fine. You can still access the charging port, volume buttons, and camera when the iPad is in the case.My son really likes the handle, as it makes the iPad easier to carry. I have the older generation iPad so it's large and can be somewhat bulky. The handle makes it better!

I'm very pleased with this case, especially for the price. I bought this for my boys' iPad 3. It's easy to use, and seems like it will hold up well for a 4 and 6 year old. The handle does an ok job of standing the iPad up. Again, it's for a 4 and a 6 year old. Let's not be too picky here for $9.99. The cover on the home button gives the appearance that it won't work well, but IT DOES. Relax, it really works. I LOVE the handle for carrying the device. It's very easy for little hands to carry this around without worry of dropping it. That's the biggest benefit as far as I'm concerned - peace of mind that it's not going to slip though little fingers. :) The material does feel cheap, but again, for the price, it's actually better than expected.

My husband and I are very pleased with this case. The iPad has survived surprisingly well in our preschooler's hands with just a thin case on it, but we feel better about its safety now that we found this. I actually first saw it on an airplane when the little boy across the aisle had his iPad propped up so he could watch a show. I love that the handle turns into a little stand. It fits the iPad great (ours is a 1st gen), and all of the necessary buttons and plugs are accessible and easy to use. It's all around a great product and we're really pleased.

I LOVE this. My husband decided to give our 6 yr old his iPad since his brothers got their own tablets. I needed a case that he could carry but also protect the ipad in case it was dropped and it has been and this case has saved it!Let me address that YES it is bulky and the charging port is difficult to pull up so the charger can get in it but you CAN still access it, it is NOT hard to take off the entire case either, we have done it many many times bc my husband still uses it often when we travel and he doesnt want to get caught with this bulky green kids case on it (lol).I would def recommend this case to all of my friends and family.

These are great!! I use them in my classroom where students are not so careful with things. The handle is great for them to carry. It also doubles as a prop-up putting the iPad on an angle which helps with glare from overhead lights. I have 5 in different colors so I know which iPad models are in which colors. Next I'm getting color coordinated charging cords to make it simple to know which one goes to which.

My 2 year old loves this. We had a super big heavy Fisher-Price case that he used to use, but he likes that he can pull this up on his lap. The only thing I hate about the design is the cover over the power plug. It wants to stay closed and applies a lot of pressure on the connector to the charger where it plugs into the iPad. It still charges fine I just don't like how it puts so much pressure on the connection. I also recommend getting a screen protector to go with this for the little ones.

Best purchase ever! Has saved my sons I pad over and over from his heavy handedness! The buttons are easily accessible , colour is great, easy to clean. Handle is the perfect size!
