Sensitivity
The medium light spring bobber worked great even with a 1/8th and 1/16th oz jig tipped with a minnow head. All I had to do was shorten the wire. There was still bend in it but with that much weight it was expected. If it wasnt for the spring bobbers sensitivity I wouldnt have caught most of the walleye and crappie given how light the bite was, so I am very pleased with my purchase and I'll be buying more for next season.

Like these really well. Can put them on any rod an detect the really light bites.

too light and flimsy
Very flimsy for medium light is actually ultralight or microlight the diameter is about .015" diameter the clam has .02" diameter and is stiffer and suitable for ultralight bluegill flys to 1/16 oz crappy jigs. Would recommend they increase the wire diameter to at least .02" diameter. Love the ziplock crimp attachment that secures the bobber to the rod. Makes it stay on much better than other spring bobbers that need help from glue, etc.

These are my favorite spring bobbers.
They aren't as sensitive as some but they are easy to attach.I recommend keeping electrical tape in your ice tackle bag specifically for spring bobbers. Its the easiest way to keep them attached.

Does NOT work when cold!
I liked the design and its sensitivity. Especially the big line guide is very important so that ice doesn't block the line movement. However, this spring bobber does NOT work when it is cold (~10 F or less), which is not that uncommon while ice fishing. This specific titanium alloy has a transition temperature that the alloy loses its springiness. The transition temperature is a function of the alloy composition. Obviously Rapala doesn't seem to know how to specify the right composition so it is useful when cold.I bought a set at a local store before this purchase. They didn't work when cold. I called Rapala service center and confirmed that they don't have a lower temperature limit, implying it should not lose its springiness at any low temperatures. I thought the set was made of a bad batch of alloy. WRONG. This set does the exact same thing! If you are a serious ice fisherman, please don't purchase. If you do ice fishing only when it is around 30 F or so, this may work for you.

Nice for light weight jigs. Can adjust for your jig.
Work great on panfish. Especially the light biters. Will eventually break might be after the 1,000th fish or more. Have these on several poles and fish out on open ice down to Temps below zero. I remove the end guide and use heat shrink tubing to secure. I either put the guide back on or use these as the final guide on rods I've broken the tip off of.

light weight
These are really well constructed but they don't work for me. My smallest jig is too heavy for this spring bobber.
