Bought as replacement after previous version string broke (after years of use). nice ventilation. good fit. didn't use for fishing but for Hawaii trip. Saved my neck from sunburn, literally and figuratively.I put some clear nail polish along the area where the string attaches to the hat. Maybe that will get me a few more years out of this one.

Good price, good fit, easy to pack in suitcase and can wear without looking smashed or wrinkled. The under chin strap is a must for me to keep the hat from blowing off in the wind.

I don’t like wearing hats but purchased this one on Amazon before a mid-summer trip to Florida. I wanted some protection from the sun, especially the back of my neck. I didn’t plan to wear it much, except when I really needed a sun screen. But I wound up wearing this handy, light, comfortable hat every day. I have a big head, but the hat fits comfortably and has a pull if a tighter fit is desired. The chin strap kept my hat from flying away on more than one breezy boat ride. But what really stands out are the tiny perforations around the edge of the hat, keeping my head much cooler and less sweaty than when wearing a ball cap. It’s even made a trip through my washing machine with no harm. It’s light and folds easily for your backpack. I still don’t like hats, but I love this one.
