This is the second one purchased. The other has become tatty but it's been outside for about 6 years so it's done well. This appears less sturdy than the old one and is a little smaller but it looks good and it adds interest to the garden when checking the temperature. If it lasts as long as the previous one it'll be reasonable value for money. It's easy to read and the temperature scale is clear.

Why did you choose this product over others?:Comes with two tiny screws but no wallplugs. They were replaced with more suitable. Unit clear plastic housing fits snugly into the bronze although bronze is thin and will have a quite limited lifespan outdoors. Not sure how weatherproof it will prove to be so have fitted in a sheltered position in the porch where it can be read carefully as the numbers are in 10s so you need to count the lines. Checked accurate against my existing thermometers so pleased for the reasonable price.

Brilliant for temperature reading, easy to pop on outside wall.easy to read the temperature too. I doesn’t appear to be robust, but it’s stood the test of time on our back wall, so delicate as i5 may appear, it does the job very well.
