Kaito Nano Ionic Care Facial Steamer with Fast Activation and Pleasant Feeling, Facial Steamer

I love this facial steamer! It produces a good amount of steam in 10-20 seconds for about 10 minutes. It has a sealed off water tank that fits inside the steamer. As some other reviewers have suggested, I use filtered water for the tank to prevent mineral buildup. It's lightweight and compact, so I can hold it comfortably while I lounge in bed watching TV. (Or you could place it on a table lower than your face, while you lounge.) I have not experienced any water leakage when I do this either. I used to use a Conair facial steamer for years and while that did the trick; I was forced to sit in an awkward position, bored out of my mind during the steaming process. On top of that it would take a while to produce steam and I had to be extra careful about moving the steamer because the water would fly out otherwise. This steamer has none of those issues and I don't have to deal with unnecessary attachments and accessories. It's a wonderful product!

It works good, but the water reservoir part broke after one week. Waste of money in my eyes.

This is a great inexpensive steamer. At the $29.95 I paid, which is much less than comparable designs--it is worth every penny. Don't buy the expensive Japanese version when you can get this one at a bargain price.I use distilled water and it puts out lots of warm steam for a little less than 10 minutes. My skin looks better everytime I use it.The only con is after months of intermittent use, the vapor still does smell slightly like plastic and that is why I am giving it 4 stars. My workaround is to steam one side of my face at a time, then the top, then the bottom of my face while breathing thru my nose away from the steam. I do not mouth breathe. I would not use this as a humidifier.I am not sure if the more expensive steamer's (which look like this one) also smell slightly like plastic, but since they all appear to be made of similar plastic, my guess is they would all too. So if that is the case, just buy the cheaper one and chalk up the slight plastic smell to a design flaw.

It does what it's supposed to do. There is a smell but it doesn't bother me.

I bought this because I have a horrible cold and I needed help clearing my sinuses. Worked like a charm. Shoots out tons of steam quickly after starting it. Steam started after about 30-40 seconds. I next used it to try streaming my skin to help with exfoliating. That was amazing! I am keeping it on my bathroom sink. I highly recommend it.

I purchased two... The plastic inside the tank broke on the first one, and I sent it back thinking it was just a product defect and received the second one and it did the same thing. I only used it once and when I went to fill with water the second time, the plastic come apart in my hand. I wasn't hard on it or abused it at all. The plastic just crumbled.

Nice little steamer for the price. Works well. Puts out a lot of steam.I would recommend this.

It works as what the package insert says. I like the size and the handle which makes it easy to carry to where I would like to use it-of course, not near the sink, etc- as stated in the insert. The steam is warm not hot-supposed not to use HOT steam for facials. The water container just holds enough water to give 5 to 10 minutes steam. I do about 5 mins. I wish it has a longer cord, the cord is too short. Otherwise, it is a good facial steamer. I have used it 2x, so far so good. Enjoy!
